🛠️ DEWALT DWE7485 Table Saw – Hands Down, the Best Ever
This is easily the best table saw I’ve ever owned. Powerful, compact, and built like a tank — DEWALT absolutely nailed it with this one. The 15-amp motor cuts through hardwood like butter, and the compact size makes it perfect for job sites or small shops. The rack and pinion fence adjustment is buttery smooth and incredibly accurate, which is rare at this price point. I’ve been using it nonstop and never once thought about needing to return it — the return window closed weeks ago, but this saw isn’t going anywhere. If you need a reliable, portable table saw with serious performance, this is the one to get. Best ever, no question.

Good Solid Saw
My Craftsman 10" saw drowned in a flood, but it took up a lot of space and I did not use it very often anymore. But I needed a saw so I bought this one. I picked DeWalt as I appreciate their quality, and this saw is very high quality. And pretty heavy and solid but easy to move around. The fence with dial adjustment is great. It seems quite accurate. I just completed new baseboards for the house and it made it easy.

Everything that I expected and more with a great price.
Great saw and stand. Easy set up that took minimal time. I have used it several times and works great. Great product for medium size jobs. I also appreciate the added safety features and the price was extremely competitive. I think that the only change or addition that I will make is to add wheels to the stand to make moving around projects easier and not require help.

Powerful compact saw, highly recommend
Great little big saw. I downsized from the 10" with the rolling stand because it is just too big and awkward for transporting to smaller jobs. The 8 1/4 has great power and everything that the 10" has, just lighter amd more portable. I'm a finish carpenter so I use it a lot and would highly recommend it for anyone that doesn't have the ability to roll a saw into their trailer. I have a smaller van and this saves space for other important tools.

My husband says "It's Great!" (because I know nothing about table saws
I purchased this for my husband who likes to collect "man crafting" items, but doesn't seem to use them that much. He actually fired this up the weekend after he received it and cut stuff up. He seemed happy by this process of cutting things. He commented that it was "great." I just hope he doesn't cut a hand or arm off or something. UPDATE 04/04/21 All limbs still in-tact. In fact, I'm told there are many safety features built in and that I shouldn't worry about this anymore (easier said...). Unlike many of the other "must have" products he's received over the years that are still in their boxes, my husband has jumped right in on this one. I asked about some of the things he likes so far. He likes the brand and has confidence that it's a quality product. He also likes some of the "little features" that make it more usable, like the carrying handle on the side and the side thing (I don't know what this is called) tucks neatly into the device when not used. He tends to misplace things and lose an hour looking for them, so I'm sure this will help his efficiency. He appreciates the ease of adjusting the blade depth and angle, and is glad he can "finally rip" wood (I think just wants to choose some different projects to do this with). Here's what I like: The shelves I've asked for the past 7 years are getting built in the garage. While they aren't the modular ones I requested (insert slanty face), unfortunately this table saw has a limitation: it can't control what the user makes or 'listen' to their partner for what they want...If it could, I'd totally have 'uploaded' modular shelves. I shall update with any relevant information in the future since, if current use patterns persist, there could be more to report. **Update Dec '21** I'm happy to report my husband still has both his arms, legs, and all his fingers and toes! When I purchased this for him, I honestly thought it might be used a few times (or rarely) and would sit with all the other power tools - patiently waiting to be used...however, what I didn't realize was that this was, I guess, the magic tool -- the "missing piece" if you will -- to generate a new-found appreciation of all the other tools. So - I guess some "side effects" of this might be: *Watching countless hours about woodworking and sawing stuff on YouTube *Wish lists that include odd-looking items that the person buying them will have no idea what they are *Trying to share your new passion with others with requests like "smell this wood" *Surprising others with new workbenches, shelves, etc. To them they seem to show up seemingly out of nowhere *A new-found appreciation of clothing with pockets. Lots of pockets. ....or you may just be able to get some of those projects done that you've been putting off (well, as long as you can afford the lumber, but that's a story for another day... Still recommending!

Awesome saw, minor complaints.
Awesome table saw with some minor issues. Wife got it for me for christmas. Light, easy to move, very accurate, and plenty of cutting power. I love it. There are a couple of minor things that bug me about it. The worst of which, is you can't adjust the vertical square of the fence. Mine is square out of the box, however it's a massive mistake, imo, to leave such a vital thing without an adjustment. Next, the miter gauge is junk. It's got at least 1/16" of play in the miter slot, which is just awful. I get skimping on the miter gauge considering people usually swap them out for a high end one but for a company like DeWalt to allow something so innacurate and so sloppy to be sold with their product is just surprising and disappointing, to say the least. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly usable for something like miter cuts for trim or maybe framing a house where a small gap or less than perfectly matched angle is going to go unnoticed, but for finer woodworking where you need tight miters cut to perfect angles, it's going to absolutely be a problem. Outside of that it's awesome. The fence measurements are spot on. Get it zeroed in perfectly from the start and it will cut the exact length you set it to every single time. While a 10" blade would have been nice for the extra cut depth, this gets the job done just fine. All in all, I love the saw. Very well worth the money compared with the competition. Absolutely recommend it. Just make sure your table is flat and the fence is square vertically first thing out of the box to make sure you don't need to return it. And be prepared to replace the miter guage if it's something you need frequently or need to have any degree of precision. Also as a side note, I did have to exchange my first one. The switch was messed up in it. Since Amazon sent UPS directly to my house to pick up the return, it was completely hassle free.
