EDIT 2: about half a year after I wrote that first edit, my tower died on me - the red lights all randomly started flashing for a few seconds before going black. I decided to message Jackyled since I wasn't sure what my warranty options were (and I've been surprised in the past!) The tower comes with a 1-year warranty, but they were kind enough to offer a discount on my next one, which they really didn't need to do.But I'm happy to say that the upgraded version of this tower is even better than the one I bought almost a decade ago - it's a bit shorter which means it takes up less space, and now the USB ports are on the sides rather than the bottom, which means there are now 12 outlets (I believe the old one only had 9 or 10). A fantastic upgrade, after receiving some really outstanding customer service. I can emphatically recommend this power tower.EDIT: my original review was from 2017 - I am still using this tower 7 years later, and it's really withstood the test of time. All of the outlets/ports still work without issue, I've never had any problems with overheating/etc, it still works exactly as well as it did back then. I'm also happy that the tower works with with fast-charge USB-C. The retractable cord isn't even a real issue, since it's not something I ever even have to deal with, it's always plugged in the same spot so I don't have to even think about it.I will say that the plastic does feel a little cheap, but it's still working after all this time and it was relatively inexpensive so it's kind of a moot point.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm not normally one to write reviews, but I couldn't not shout out the wonderful customer service that this company provided.I ordered this tower and received a defective unit out of the box - it didn't generate any power and when I shook it, I heard a tiny rattling noise. JACKYLED responded to my email within the day, and told me that due to the defect, they could offer me a return or an exchange, either without sending in my product. I still wanted the tower, so I took the exchange, and two days later, I got my new product.It works well and as described - charges my phone and other wireless stuff quick, too! The four USB slots are very useful and are basically why I purchased this in the first place. Another thing I love is that the outlets are very strong, and definitely hold the plugs tight once I plug them in.I guess my only minor complaint would be the fact that it's a little annoying to detract/stretch out the cord of the power strip itself (definitely have to do some cranking of the tower to get it out more than a little, and it's much more of a pain to detract it), but this is a very minor grievance. All in all, very satisfied with this product and JACKYLED!

These work great quilters at home or on a retreat. You can plug in your sewing machine, extra lighting and charge your phone at the same time.I took one to a retreat and everyone asked about it so I sent them the link on Amazon and a few already purchased it.I’ve also bought one for my nightstand to use as a charging station and for my light and echo show. Plus another on our end table in the family room.I would highly recommend, especially with the 10 ft cord if you’re going to move it around. You can can always wind up the excess cord. The 6.5 ft cord is good if you're going to keep it somewhere like a nightstand where the outlet is close by.

This is actually my second purchase of this tower. One is in the garage to plug in all various items. Also bought the other tower for chirstmas to light up and plug in our village collection.PROS:12 plug in ports6 usb portsCompact design making it clean of a cord mess and accessible for plug in that has short cords.Retractable 6 foot cordSlick and attractive design (I chose black&white)Handle on top makes it easy for travel us.Decent power.CONS:you have to remember to individually press the button to turn on the "power" for each individual plug in. Including the usb ports.There is no surge protector in case of over heating or danger. This tower will not shut off on its own. You will have to remember to actually unplug the tower in thus situation.The plug ins do not have the ability to rotate.The usb port for charging phones, speakers or other usb devices will be a slower charge. Although it will be faster if you're using a fast charging usb cord.All in all decent tower, unique design, and gets the job done.

It it awesome in rooms where you have cords and extension cords due to lack of outlets. Love that it also had charging stations for your electronics.

You can turn sections of the tower on or off, it spins, and it has usb slots (not type c unfortunately). It’s just very handy for a home office.I thought it was more outlets than I needed but i am glad I went with this size. Now have 9 things plugged in and outlets to spare (lamp, laptop, printer, shredder, phone, deposit scanner, Bluetooth speaker, external monitor, and webcam ring light).

Purchased for a dorm with only 2 wall outlets. No setup needed just remove packaging and start use. This is a great space saver when you have limited room. Good quality and pricing was worth it for the amount of outlets and Usb ports. Fits perfect on a desk or nightstand and requires very little space. Power cord is long enough to stretch across the room if necessary. I’d buy this again.
