Land Rites (Detective Ford Book 2)

Once again, another thriller from Andy Maslen worthy of that title. A great story, full of intrigue, and a novel I found difficult to put down; and when I did, I couldn't wait to pick it up again! Shall be starting the next one shortly😁😁

Excellent second book in the Detective Henry Ford series. Characters rounding out nicely, fast paced storyline, exactly my type of book. I am looking forward to book three as there are plenty of unfinished business lines to delve into.

I thought I would try a new author and the books are more interesting to me as I live near Salisbury. But there are some annoying plot holes in the 2 books I have read so far, and the author has clearly never met a real horse! I will persevere though as I quite like the characters.

Another brilliant read from Andy Maslen just like the first in this series his books keep you guessing right to the end. Going to read the 3rd in the series now.

I would have loved to read these books but somehow they are lagging on my kindle, real shame only 3/5

I'm enjoying this series. I like DI Ford and his team. It's a great storyline too. I had guessed who had killed the eco warrior and the thug. Early in the story. Although I struggled with the motive. That was made clear thanks to DI Fords investigation.Great characters and an insight to the pressures a detective is under when trying to find and prove who the murderer is.

Really liked the police characters in this story. Lots of good solid police work in this story, plenty of twists a d turns in the plot to keep it interesting to. I will look for more from this author

Gruesome murder in a rural area. Turns out there’s another related murder. An Exciting hard to put down must read.

This is a mystery but it’s truly a major kick. The work family is quirky. The suspect’s family is a bid deal and obstructive. There are few quiet moments in this book. Wonderful characters.
