Can't find 2 1/2" fittings locally and this one was delivered in 2 days. Waiting on rest of my pool parts but looks like it'll fit perfectly

The item is 2 3/4 not 2 1/2 inside diameter as the description states. I sent the item back for a refund sense I was mislead with false pretenses.
