Boys Flex Waist Flat Front Short

My grandson's school requires them to wear uniforms. These shorts were perfect. They are well made of a good quality material and fit well. He is in a size 8 husky and they are perfect. I'm sure he will outgrow the shorts before they wear out! They are very reasonably priced and wash and dry like a dream. No ironing needed. Both my daughter and myself are very pleased with this brand. We have since purchased the long pants for his winter uniform. Very satisfied.

My 12 year old grandson loves Dickie brand clothing. These shorts have an adjustable waist band to tighten or let out for more room. They are very durable and worth the money! I also bought 4 pair of Dickie pants that he loves!

Alright, I seldom write reviews but I felt the need to assist anyone on the fence about buying these shorts. My child is about 5'3" slim but not skinny. Size 16 pants fit a little loose on him but that's the way he likes them. Little skater boy. We bought size 18, they fit the way a 16 normally fits. A little loose but they have room to grow and the adjustment inside. They have the perfect length just below the knee. I hope this helps mom's and dad's out there wondering about sizes and will it fit your kid.

Took a little longer than expected to ship, but then again, I ordered it a couple of weeks before school was to start. I probably wasn't the only parent freaking out that all of the local stores vastly underestimated the demand for school uniform attire and had sought to remedy the time sensitive dilema online. The size 16 is appropriate for my slender child at 5'3'' and 98 lbs. The adjustable waist band made up the difference. These shorts are in compliance with the school dress code--no outer label. They do not wrinkle as badly as other brands do. However, these black shorts seem to attract more lent and hair than other black pants of different brands.

I got these a while ago for school for my kids. They have been washed about 100 times and still look pretty much the same as when I bought them. No sticking has come out yet, and they seem to be holding up well. I would recommend.

My son in in third grade, and these are the only uniform shorts I will buy. We tried different brands, but everything else wrinkled, faded, and/or fell apart. These shorts and pants look great without ironing, fit well, and are extremely durable. The flex waist is necessary for my thin but tall son, and we can let the waist out as he grows. We generally buy them a little big, and we can get two school years out of them. They stay in such great condition that we are able to pass them down and they still look great years later. Highly recommend.

Our son usually wears a size 12-14 for most of his pants and shorts. We purchased these shorts first in size 14, which were way too small. We then returned and exchanged for a size 16, which was also too small. Rather than returning and exchanging a second time, we just asked for a refund. That being said, I would order a few sizes larger if you plan on purchasing these shorts for your son(s). I do want to note that they seemed to be of high quality construction and nice fabric. Scott
