Item came very well packaged and undamaged and actually arrived about a week sooner than anticipated. I submitted my VIN to them after purchasing using the “contact seller” option through Amazon and they replied fairly quickly confirming they received it and will program the radio. Install went flawlessly and I was incredibly pleased to see they included every tool you need to complete the install, including a very small torx bit that I didn’t know I’d need and that I didn’t have! Other tools were a 7mm socket driver and trim removal tools. The gift gloves they include also actually seem like a pair of decent winter gloves too. The radio is very responsive and all functions work well and everything on the display appears as “Ford” factory. I am very happy with this radio overall. Just know the CarPlay function only works if your phone is plugged in, it is not wireless CarPlay like the newest models out there but I don’t think it’s even possible to install those on vehicles originally installed with sync 2. But everything else Bluetooth works like it should. Would definitely recommend so far. If I don’t update this, that means I never had any issues.

Can’t express enough the great price point and ease of installation. The unit works great in my 2015 platinum. All functions work perfectly. Everything from massaging seats to heated steering wheel all operate as designed. The video I watched is on YouTube via 4D Tech. Only thing I did differently was cleanly mount the GPS antenna on top of my dash. The kit provided for installation was absolutely perfect. All the right tools included. Fast shipping with great packaging.

We’ve tried 3 different phones, Waze and google maps and the same problem every time we use the map function. The location is off. This was given to my son for his 16th birthday so he could find his way, but instead he has to look down at his phone which isn’t safe, especially for a new driver!

Comes with all required tools to perform the job, and even comes with extras that aren't necessary but appreciated nonetheless. Received super quick message for VIN number verification so they could program it prior to shipping it to me, so it arrives ready for instal. Installation took about 30 minutes without trying to move too quickly. Highly recommend as an alternative to the more expensive conversion kits for sale, as this is an awesome value. Minor note: The "welcome" splash screen on mine says "Raptor" even though my truck isn't one. kind of a cool animation but it doesn't bother me at all, not sure if its something that can be changed with programming or not, but the important thing is that its an excellent product and I am very satisfied with it.

I wanted to upgrade from Sync 2 to 3 for the CarPlay features. I was reluctant because my vehicle has heated seats, cooled seats and heated steering wheel. This unit did not disappoint! All options work through the unit, and it was extremely easy to install! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to keep all the factory options while upgrading to the newest Ford sync.

Everything you need to remove the old screen is included. It was a very simple process and the YouTube video made it easy to install. Basically plug and play. The GPS works perfectly!

Arrived quicker than expected. Easy to understand and install. A few Months later, 3 different screens, it still has issue with the screen going blank, and sometimes not even coming back on until the truck is turned off and back on again.

I am so glad I purchased ! I now have Apple Car play in my 2015 F150. The infotainment system is a factory direct replacement of the old sync system to the upgraded sync system like my newer Mustang has. Took about 30 mins to do the install and all my radio, heating, nav, etc.. all work just like before. I highly recommend buying !!
