I bought this wifi after the airport card failed in my PowerPC iBook. Other units were available for Intel-based iBooks, but I had a hard time locating choices for the PowerPC version. A call to Premiertek verified that the Powerlink N150 would indeed work, so I bought it. It is the chipset that set it apart, and I am fairly certain that the N150 will work well in many other situations and with many other products that use wifi.The software installed very easily, and the dongle can plug directly into a USB port or be used with an extension cord (5' I think, didn't measure). It worked extremely well for me, sending and receiving over my home network without problem for over a year, until the iBook itself was terminally damaged. The N150 was an economical yet effective solution to my problem and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
