Never Never: Part One

**Way too expensive**
I'm a hardcore Coho fan and I've read almost every book she has published. But, I gave 3 stars to this because its soooo expensive here, and never never is a novella! The series itself is an extremely short read. I would recommend reading it on a kindle than buying the paperback, There's a new edition thats out that has all 3 in 1. Look out for that.I hope you found my review helpful.

A nice read
I have read almost all of Colleen's books and they have NEVER disappointed me. This book was the same. Many of her books are a single read or have the same book in the other character's POV which is amazing. Never never was full of suspense from the start. As I kept reading, pieces began to fall together and the story became interesting. The end left me in a breathless suspesnse. Thank you Colleen.

Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher
Wow is this hard book to review since it's not actually a full book, but half of one. Honestly, if I'd known this was part 1 of a story I wouldn't have started it, but I was a third of the way through when I found out.Never Never follows Charlie and Silas who both lose their memories in the middle of class, but the strange thing is they remember everything apart from who they are, what they've done and who their family is.I was expecting big things from Never Never. With one of the authors being Colleen Hoover, I was obviously expecting big things. But honestly, Never Never just didn't live up to my expectations. The main problem I had with it was that I never connected with the characters at all. I felt nothing towards them. Although both Charlie and Silas did managed to make me annoyed at them. From what we learnt about them, they were supposed to be this perfect couple who were completely in love. But, they were both cheating on each other... Well, obviously they didn't love each other that much. In my opinion, neither Charlie nor Silas had any sort of personality for me to connect with, which is extremely unfortunate because I was really looking forward to this book. The only thing that kept me reading - and that will make me read part 2 - is the mystery. Why did Charlie and Silas forget only things relevant to their lives? Why both of them? What happened with their fathers? What was with the blank card? Also, the ending left me with a lot more questions as well that I'm dying to know the answers too. There's something bigger going on here and I'm unsure whether it's something magical or something supernatural - I'm swaying more towards supernatural - but I'm hoping it'll be something awesome enough to justify reading part 2.Overall, Never Never didn't wow me. The mystery was the only thing the book had going for it (imo), but it is enough to make me want part 2 of the story so that says something.

I had been recommended Colleen Hoover books time and time again but
I had been recommended Colleen Hoover books time and time again but, as romance as a main theme is something that doesn't automatically appeal to me, especially in a contemporary setting, I had held off. I decided that this was the month I was going to join the bandwagon of ardent Hoover supporters and, for better or for worse, see what all the fuss was about. Based on what I knew of the author, and of Taryn Fisher's writing, I made some predictions about this book, which were proven unequivocally incorrect, and and some preliminary expectations, which were well and truly surpassed. I just did not expect to love this book as much as I did!Never Never is the story of high school sweethearts, Charlie and Silas, who forget they were ever sweethearts. In fact, they forget who they are entirely. And it is at this exact point that the story begins. The reader is given no backstory or preceding introduction into who the characters are or what is occurring: we go into this just as blind as Charlie and Silas. I found this frustrating, but frustrating in the good way, and my mind was running rife with theories as to how exactly this could have occurred. All of which were proven wrong. This book gives you one answer to every one hundred questions that arise and I spent the entirety of reading it foiled and perplexed. The Gothic tenebrosity of the cover should have alerted me to the fact that this wasn't going to be a typical 'boy meets girl', but nothing could have prepared for the feeling of total helplessness and confoundment I found myself in. Yet, whilst giving the reader nothing, Hoover and Fisher still manages to create a world, characters and a plot that felt whole and real. And in a surprisingly few number of pages as well. The biggest frustration of all was the quick-paced plot and action-packed climax leading us to an ending comprising of three word: 'to be continued'.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I'd hoped
I bought this book as soon as it was available on Amazon, simply because it's by Colleen Hoover. I've always loved everything written by her, so I didn't hesitate to buy this book which is a collaboration with Tarryn Fisher. I've yet to read anything by Tarryn Fisher, but as she's an Author I've heard of, and a few of her books are on my to-read list, I didn't have any qualms about buying this book. This is the first time that I've found a Colleen Hoover book difficult to read and review, as it's the first time that I haven't really found myself falling in love with one of her stories. This could be because it's so different from her other books that I've read, or maybe it's the alternating points of view between the two characters, and between the two Authors. Whatever the reason for it, I just couldn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The ending of the book left a lot of be desired for me. Although I'm used to cliffhangers in books, I felt that the cliffhanger in this book was too big, to the point where nothing was explained and I was just left confused. That being said, I did enjoy the mystery surrounding Charlie and Silas, as neither of them have any memories of their lives, and the people in them. I thought it was interesting that although they could remember how to drive, and they could remember the names of celebrities, they couldn't remember anything about their personal lives and those closest to them. All in all, I was a bit disappointed with this book, but it's possible that my expectations were too high because of how much I love Colleen Hoover's other books. However I am interested in reading the second part of the story; perhaps it will shed some light on the mystery surrounding Charlie and Silas, and help to clear up my confusion.

Mysterious and Intriguing - a fab read
I've been bingeing on Colleen Hoover books over the Christmas and I spotted this one and it instantly captured my attention. I'm always fascinated when authors collaborate, and I wonder if each author wrote a perspective each?I love books that are told from male and female perspectives so I knew instantly that I'd love this. The writing is superb and clearly Tarryn is as talented as the wonderful Colleen. This was completely mysterious, and I couldn't figure out what was going on, which is exactly what I loved about it. Little pieces of Silas and Charlie's lives are slowly revealed, enticing and ensnaring the reader. There was plenty of intrigue to keep me hooked. If you enjoy well-written fast-paced stories that revolve around friendship, love, betrayal with a healthy dose of the supernatural, then you'll adore this series. Highly recommended.

wow... just... wow
Wow... Lol.. I literally have no words.... This book? This story? WOW...This story is completely different from everything that I ever read... I love everything that Colleen Hoover writes, but this partnership with Tarryn Fisher is amazing...I was intrigued all book, my heart was racing during all book... Really you need to read this...Sillas and Charlie realise one day that they don't remember anything about their life's, just like that.... But their love is so strong that they can't stay away for each other and the fact they are both in the Same situation and need each other to figure out what happened doesn't help..."I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that. And not just anyone. I want to know what it feels like to love Charlie."“I don’t care what our real first kiss was,” he says. “That’s the one I want to remember.”GOOD I want the second book now 😣 I can't wait until April ...
