Updated: Easy and works great, including the air pressure
Update: I have attached a picture of the first filter on the left next to a new filter on the right. To say that they work is an understatement! I let this go a bit longer than normal - replaced at about 6 weeks instead of 4 - but it is still very clear that this filter is doing its job very well. These appear to be well made. They fit my Resmed Airsense 11 easily and simply worked.I do want to address air pressure since this is a common theme in most reviews. These will all reduce pressure which is to be expected since you are adding another a filter which will add resistance to airflow. With the Resmed unit, at least, this is easily and safely compensated for in the Custom Settings area. I tried the unit first without making any adjustments and the pressure was reduced enough to be noticeable and also not to what I expected or want. So, here is the adjustment.First, enter the Custom Settings menu by touching and holding the two icons on the touchscreen display for 3 seconds and it will present the custom menus, then select Settings. This is where your doctor or therapist sets up your pressure range, mask type, etc. initially, so DO NOT change your pressure range! It is unintuitive and if set up incorrectly you will get a condescending slap on the wrist from your therapist as they correct what you messed up!Instead, scroll down until you see 'Adjust for BV'. This is shorthand for 'adjust the air pressure to compensate for adding a bacteria / virus filter' which is what these are. By default, this is turned off. Simply turn it on and exit the custom menu. That's it!It took about 30 seconds to do this but once it was done the pressure was back to what I am used to having from the unit. I don't know if other CPAP units have a similar setting or how to access it, but the internet is awash with videos, so there are probably some for non-Resmed units, too!

Fits great - using ResMed AirSense11 with air it N30i
As the title states these work well with my CPAP equipment (see title), I placed it just prior to the headgear in other words head gear - filter - tubing and it fit well.I inquired prior to purchasing these the actual micron (μm) size that it filtered out. The question was answered as 3.0. The average virus/bacteria and others to give you an idea:COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) 0.1-0.5μmBacterium 1-3μmLight dust particle 1μmDust particle: PM2.5 ≤2.5μmRespiratory droplets containing COVID-19 5-10μmRed blood cell 7-8μmForest fire smoke: PM 2.5 particles, 2.5 µm in diameter or smallerTo help you understand the average human skin cell is: 20-40 microns, for a microscope slide they're cut at 5 Microns. These filters, if they do as stated should filter out any undesirable contaminants and for me, forest fire smoke that we get yearly in the NW and these will filter the larger particles. I noticed a minimal added air resistance once I added these. I have asthma and scuba dive so I might be more aware of airway restriction than normal. If they work as described I do recommend adding these as a precautionary addition to your CPAP equipment for other machines than just the Phillips recalled equipment.I hope my review helps those like me who had questions on filtering, equipment used and air restrictions.

Sleep changer
I’ve been using a CPAC machine with distilled water for 17 years and always woke up not fully refreshed and often times with nasal congestion. The first night I used this bacterial filter I could feel the difference- the results were amazing. There was no reduction in air flow, I woke up refreshed and without any congestion. Definitely will be using this from now on!!

Incompatible, and no way to address it
Update: ok, I figured out a place to put it. There was a rubbery size-conversion connector between the heated tube and my mask's tube that was pushed in so far, I didn't know it was there. The filter fit between those. It's working well. I feel a very slight drop in pressure, not enough to matter.Original: These filters fit nowhere along the set of connections for the ResMed AirCurve 10.I came back to the product listing, which now no longer lists the dimensions of the filter connector openings, so I can't even tell if it was my mistake or theirs.I tried using the Product Support link, but that was a dead-end, as it was just a checklist with no way to progress if it didn't help.I tried the Questions/Rufus thing, but that was also a dead-end because, though it gave a nice answer, there was no button or link or guidance of where to go next for the solution it promised.I can't even leave a message for the seller. So, the product might be amazing, but I'll never know. Both the Amazon app's design let me down, and the seller's lack of description or contact accessibility.Help.

Stop breathing the dust from my CPAP machine.
I put a filter in line with my CPAP hose. It is amazing the amount of dust that gets through the CPAP air filters. I don't like the thought of breathing in all that dust.

Makes it easy to breathe clean air.
I was a victim of the recent "deadly CPAP" scare. The one where a bunch of lawyers created a huge claim that users of a certain CPAP machine were threatened with breathing small rubber particles and toxic gasses. It turned out to be nothing, but I was quite concerned at the time, as my doctor told me that, if I slept without my CPAP, "...your chances of survival are not good...".I love this filter. While I have never found any "rubber particles" trapped in it, it still stops a fair amount of dust and pollen. It easily attaches to my mask, at the end of the hose, so that anything that might grow in the machine or hose is filtered just before the mask.I replace the filter about once a month or when I see discoloration. I have not noticed any decrease in pressure or air flow.
