My cans usually arrive badly dented to the extent that I have to throw them away and I haven’t been refunded by Amazon for the lost cans. The taste is great and I recommend these except for the dented cans which is a regular thing for these. I’ve probably lost $100 in dented beans. If it was a different food item with dents I’d just use it first but not with beans which can get botulism and not with meat or fish.

My sister says these are the best refried beans ever! So, I bought some for her and for us. I agree! These beans are soooo good!!

I don't love that they contain 7g fat per serving (see photo of label), hence the 4 stars, but they are very tasty with or without hot sauce and I can't stop eating them! Have bought multiple 12-packs, as they are a great bargain at the current price. So far, the dates are far in the future (like 2 years+) and there have been only mild dents in a few cans (update: one of eight 12-packs severely damaged, the other seven 12-packs good). The nutritional info is different than in the product photo, however; see photos for the label on the 400g cans I've gotten. Not sure if I trust the calcium 12% RDA, seems high compared to the 2% for the refried pinto beans. Finally, delivery estimate is unreliable, delivery is usually on a different day than what it says at the time of ordering.

The very best, nutritious, refried black beans in a really handy size. Best flavor too.

We usually go with the basic pinto refried beans, but sometimes we just crave the flavor of the black beans. These are tasty and mild, so you can spice them up to suit your taste.

I only received 1 case not 2!
