BROKEN
We ordered two of these hourglasses. They are fairly thin glass. One arrived completely broken, the other arrived cracked/broken. We tried the one that was cracked/broken, and the timing due to the magnetic "sand" was not 1 minute. It was longer and the magnetic pieces got stuck and didn't fully flow through without shaking. I would not recommend.

Constantly gets stuck and doesn't run through
Cute enough hourglass, but the filings are two big and constantly get stuck so the hourglass is neat to look at but bad at being an hourglass.

It's pretty, but not nearly accurate
The specs say it's accurate to ±10%. That would be 6 seconds for a minute timer. But mine is typically closer to 10 seconds slow, and frequently the last few seconds of the sand get stuck and never drop. If you want it as a decoration, go ahead and buy it. But it doesn't help much as a timer if you use it as a food timer, for eggs perhaps, or as I do, to steep high quality loose tea, when several seconds per minute can make a difference.

It has one job....
It's hard to expect much from an hourglass timer. There's really just two things you expect: that it works and that it's somewhat accurate. This product failed on both accounts. The "sand" (iron filings) gets clumped and fails to continue falling through the hourglass. I have to keep tapping the hourglass to get it to keep going. When I am able to get it going fairly consistently, the total time for the filings to fall is at least 1 min 15 seconds, not 1 minute. I would forgive a couple of seconds high or low, but 15 seconds is pretty far off. I was going to give this as a gift, but I absolutely cannot in good conscience do that now. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because iron fillings and magnets are fun. Otherwise, this hourglass had one job, and it failed to do it.

Very cute
It’s closer to 80 sec/1 min 20 sec according to my phone timer… but super cute and works for what I need it for!

Sand gets stuck
The sand gets stuck and needs to be tapped to finish. It’s not functional on its own.

The hourglass was 11 seconds slow (18%) which is far too much for the cost. It's esthetically pleasing but low in function. I purchased the ⌛️ for DnD combat timing - but I am going to attempt to return it. :(
