Upton Home Drexel Sawhorse Desk, Oak brown, bronze finish, OS8037OH

The "expansive, weathered Oak desk top" is actually laminate on top of particleboard, which already had two large scratches on it right out of the package. I should've taped the box back up immediately once I noticed this, but I decided to keep on going because I liked the style of the desk and it would fit really well in the space that I had for it. The one thing I can say for it is that the instructions were very clear and the parts were clearly labeled. Some of the screw holes did not line up well, and one of the pieces was welded at less than a 90° angle, which really took some work to get in place. We were able to get it together after all, but once we flipped it over the desktop was really wobbly; I imagine that after some use,the particleboard would break away from the base. In all, the desk was completely unsatisfactory and I'm just glad that Amazon will pay to have it shipped back as a defective item.
