does this attract bed bugs?

The bedbugs will travel inside "the box" and get stuck to this sticky film that is inside that black box. I do not think that there is any chemotaxis/chemical that so called attracts them to the black box. You have to place the boxes where the instructions tell you to put them and then, if you have any bedbugs they will inevitably go inside. Then you can see them. That is how you detect if you have them or not.

Does anyone have a photo of an actual bed bug in one of these traps? I am seeing what I think are bubbles in the adhesive. Don't look like bugs.

Hello Mathew F.! We made a research with Raid and there is no pictures of the traps captured bed bugs. I’ve actually suggested that to them so we can better display the product. Does this work for cockroaches too?

No, definitely not. If you have a roach problem, get a tube of Harris roach gel and put very small amounts in places no pets can get to. The stuff works wonders when used properly. The secret to using it effectively is to put no more than 1/4" in any one place, and in several places. Combat max is another very good one and actually works just as well as the Harris. Just remember to use it in places it cannot be accessed by any pets, and replace it as directed. I had someone staying with me for a while who brought roaches in my house, and those products got rid of them rather quickly. NOTE: Never use "bombs" or sprays because roaches will just go deeper into walls and hide til it's safe to come out. People learn that the hard way, so don't be one of those people because you will end up making yourself and especially pets very I'll and possibly cause their death. Believe me when i tell you, the gels are the most effective way to rid your home of roaches. And on the plus side, the gels will also kill silverfish and a few other gross crawly things.

It will trap bed bugs in your house just be careful if you go to a house that has them they can craw on your shoe or clothes without you knowing and then they will lay eggs One bug can lay a100 eggs but if you keep on top of it spay everything every day get spray that is not harmful to kids or pets Wash bed stuff spay your bed down down all beds chairs vacuum chairs and carpet you can buy a slayer on here And bug spray if you don't keep up it's going to cost about 1800 to 2200 💵 for pest guy is come out . I had to pay it twice cause we move from one house to the house my mom left me when she passed the day they were going to spay and we had brought them with us the was on the clothes in closet and the drawers Very expensive lesson Rick

Easy and confirms an issue or non issue

Easy to use! I was afraid I brought some bugs home from a trip. I caught nothing…had some bites. I did call in an exterminator…he saw none too, but I realized spiders were my issue. It put my mind at ease to have empty traps!

Only thing this catches is dust

Had a confirmed bedbug infestation. Wanted to use these to help determine which areas of the house to focus on. They were put everywhere according to instructions, which cost a small fortune cuz these things aren't cheap and Ive got 4 sleeping areas and a living room with multiple couches/chairs! Caught absolutely nothing... even in the bedroom with evidence of bugs and the one couch with evidence of bugs. These are also extremely hard to inspect for bugs... you definitely need a flashlight pointed at exactly the right angle to get a good view of the maybe 1" diameter glue/sticky part of the trap. Do not recommend as they can get expensive depending on how many you need and they don't function as intended. About their only good quality is that they are made well (didn't get crushed under mattresses or couch cushions) and they were easy to get set up... pop them apart and set it in areas as recommended on the packaging.

Gotta catch them all

These traps work — and fast! After just four days under my parents' pillows, I caught a fully fed female. At first, I thought it was just an earwig, but nope — a female bed bug! Super gross, but super effective. I’m hoping to catch even more. Definitely recommend using all the traps as instructed!
