Brought this chair as I have osteoarthritis and sciatica i was very unsure at first but when it arrived it was easy to put together it came in one big box that only just fit through door . The chair is beautiful very comfortable, the heat is in lower back only which is fine the multi function massage is very like a tenns machine, I can't fault this chair it's been a absolute god send for me you can pay thousands for raise recliner chairs i know I had one of those before this chair and I would go for this chair everytime, don't waste your money on those others this chair is changing my life if I could give more stars i would just a little edit i had to contact company with a problem , they were fantastic got back to me within 2 days and were absolutely amazing sorted my problem out well beyond my expectations 5 stars is not enough for this chair and the company itself.

Extremely comfortable. The Quality and Padding is excellent.The 2 remote controls are easy to use. Ideal for mobility issues. Brilliant colour and great price.

Totally agree with previous reviews regarding the price of some of the so called “leading brand” recliners. This recliner is well above my expectations, looks good, comfortable, works well, very quiet, easy to assemble. How long it will last only time will tell but if I get 3-4 years out of it I’ll be happy enough. I could have paid three times the price for a recliner I’m certain would not offer three times the value. Only criticism is (which I noted a few other people had) it arrived in one box rather than the two advertised, would not fit through my front door, delivery men had to take it through my patio doors which was ok but also had to lift it over various obstacles to get it into my living room. My advice to suppliers is let customers know what they are getting, very few people will have doors wide enough to get the box through meaning it would have to be unpacked outside, one star taken off for this. Other than that very pleased with the product…..so far!!

Only decided on this chair from reading the reviews as were all positive, to start the delivery men were very good and brought the chair into the living room, the chair is very comfortable and very impressed with the padding, well worth the money for it

I had previously been quoted around four grand for a rise and recline chair by *those* companies (you know the ones; they come into your home and then use every dirty, hard sell technique you've ever seen on Rogue Traders). I was therefore hesitant when I saw this chair for so much less but it looked super comfortable so I decided to take a chance, especially as it also came with a massage function which was a feature I was keen on. All I can say is WOW! It's as comfortable as it looks and I'm really thrilled with it. It's also taller than my old chair (standard DFS recliner) so I haven't even needed to use the "Rise" function yet but it'll be there when I do need it which is reassuring. The main reason I delayed getting a chair like this was knowing that once you start accepting the help to do something, you quickly lose the ability to do it any other way. Someone asked for photos of the remotes but I couldn't see how to post them any other way. One controls the 'up and down', it's a single motor design so operating one button puts the foot into the recline position while holding down the other will return it, then continue on to lift you to a standing point - you just let go of the button when you're at the position you want. The other remote is for the heat and massage functions. I don't use the heat but the massage is wonderful! So many options and permutations. The power supply is a standard one for recliners and is compatible with the battery back-up units that are available. I definitely recommend getting one if you have limited mobility - the last thing you want is to be stranded with your feet in the air in a power cut! (And yes, I speak from experience.) Just search for "recliner battery backup", they cost around £70-£100 but are worth it for safety. The only caution about this chair I'd give is that it is quite a compact chair. I'm five foot six and find it fine size-wise but my six foot two friend found it too small for comfort. Width is no problem BTW; I'm a bit of a heffalump (disabled so can't move around much) and weigh well over twenty stone but the chair copes admirably and I don't feel squashed. Company delivered quickly but the two boxes did arrive a few days apart so be prepared for that. I've been plonking my derriere on it for several months and it's still great so a big thumbs up from me; it's a bargain.

I like the way the chair looks and feels. easy to assemble,nice and comfortable. Very happy with the purchase. It is more expensive than some of the others on offer.

Why did you choose this product over others?: First chair of this type I’ve bought It’s like sitting on rocks ! And I’m under the max weight ! I would have thought being a seating item that the actual seat would at least be comfortable, but it’s not . Very disappointed I paid for it to be set up on delivery, the 2 guys were very nice and polite , so helpful I would most definitely use this service again , in fact I wish this service was available on more products for disabled people

This is our first day with our new riser chair. Well, we are really pleased with our purchase and time will tell whether it wears as well as it looks. The fabric looks expensive and the chair is more comfortable then we expected, to our delight I wanted very much to leave a positive message for the men who delivered and fitted the chair. They were very considerate and understanding of my husband who is mostly bedbound, but after only half an hour the page for comments was timed out. I do not understand this because I am not always able to make comments for some hours after a delivery. And am always, till now, able to comment.
