Okay, this sounds a little crazy, but these bowls are PERFECT for salsa. I mean perfect. If you put them in the fridge the night before, they keep your salsa nice and chilled at a party. Never used them for their intended use, but great for taco night.

Saw another reviewer say it’s perfect for salsa. Dang it. I’m going to have to buy more of these now. It’s the best salsa/sauce bowl you can get!!!!

So you want really hot lather. Here's how I do it.I shave in the shower but this cup can be used at the vanity as well...you just won't be able to enjoy the hot water on your sore shoulder for ten more minutes. I have always used my cupped hand to make lather, but it was only as hot as the shower water. Now, with the little cup I get lather hotter than anything I ever got in a barber shop.First, I fill the cup with straight hot tap water. Put the brush down into the hot water and let it soak...I go ahead and wash my hair and bod and then return to the cup of hot water for the shaving portion of the day.Next, pour the hot water out but don't shake the hot water out of the brush. I use Proraso tube shaving cream, but I'm sure whatever brand of tube shaving cream will work fine. Just a small dollop about the size of an almond will load your brush with plenty of thick hot lather. The little cup retains the heat and with the hot water soaked into the brush, whip it up like you're making an omelet.This cup is too small for cake soap....don't try. The tube shaving cream is the perfect soap for this cup.Also the cup make a good vessel to wash the brush out as well.

Overall this is a really good shaving cup. It is extremely easy to clean and despite having it for over 2 years, there are just a few tiny rust spots that have shown up. For this age, this is great. Especially for how often it is used and sometimes I don't dry it like I should. Overall, this is great for the money. I wouldn't use this for traveling though. You would be much better off with just a small travel deal of shaving cream. I do prefer shaving soap which is why I use this.
