Not too heavy but very sturdy. I am short so I need lots of help to reach the upper shelves of my kitchen. This easy to fold and unfold ladder is just for my kitchen. It fits snug up against the cabinets so I can reach the top shelves easily. It is attractive so I don't have to stow it away in a closet.

This ladder serves two purposes in my walk-in closet (1) it is functional & sturdy and (2) it is also a beautiful accent piece.

Really solid and pretty!

The overall quality of material and construction is good. The steps can feel wobbly or like it’s going to fold in on itself when you’re putting weight on them. Probably fine for a quick step up, but not good if you’re going to be using the steps extensively because there’s no “locking mechanism” to keep it stable. Comfortable to sit on the top step and I use it to access and peruse my bookshelf.

Though it has a form factor that my wife likes, this stool is made of garbage material. It snapped under normal use by a 150 lb woman; she landed pretty hard onto an item that was on the floor, and was lucky not to suffer more-serious injury. The break itself, as you can see from the picture, wasn't even along a joint. This is a relatively expensive stool, so we are disappointed. I'll add that the stool has a first step that is easy to miss on the way down. Moreover, the feet slide all over the place. They need some kind of rubber on the step side and a longer first step (which there is room for when folded). I wish we could get our money back or, if this was just a fluke, a replacement.

Not too heavy and feels sturdy. Wide steps. Doesn’t shake when I step on it. We will put some padding under the legs so it doesn’t scratch our wood floor, like we do with chairs.
