Well made, and sturdy. The extra safety pin is a nice touch that may make make you feel a little safer. Don't worry about scratching them; they're industrial tools. I've noticed some complaints about received stands with paint scratches.. Who cares? These are made to save your life, and will get scratched up and dirty over time. Also, the welds are nice, and very clean looking. What is the deal with weird reviewers? They are heavy, and if they have to travel far in their box, they may break free and fall out.

Well made stands. Bad reviews complained of poor welds and poor safety pin placement. I see nothing wrong, especially after buying seconds from the "other purchase options".I could complain like others about scuffs and chipped paint, but what's the point? I don't need a picture perfect finish for JACK STANDS.How petty can some customers be? Really? Complained about the finish? Who cares? Isn't their function a LITTLE more important?Stands will fit my needs despite the chipped paint. Mechanism is tight and safety pins are secure and function as they should. Definitely a five star product.Shipping/handling/tracking by a certain company leaves a lot to be desired, but god forbid 🚫 if we complain about the "big smile" company. Hint,it wasn't a carrier issue I'm complaining about.But wait, maybe I should go one star because one of the safety pins was loose from its retaining chain.OMG, what will I do about a loose pin and chipped paint? Hopefully you'll notice my sarcasm lmao

honeslty, bought these and when feeling them around and messing with them, they felted sturdy as HECK!!, and even more so, using this on my 2000 Honda Accord LX 4 cyclinder 2.3L, for changing my oil.. didnt even have to extend it.. had crazy amount of clearance to get my fat butt, under there.. i will say.. its also HEAVY as HECK to lug around... but i rather it be heavy and sturdy, for a MAX amount of insurance of my safty while under. would recommend it to people with SUVs,and pickups like that Toyota Tacoma. OVerall, its also not that expensive.. also i know this product ISNT for small cars, but i believe overkill on safty is always a MUST.

Torin Steel Jack Stands worked perfectly for getting under our old Dodge Stratus. They are just the right height, although I did have to add a block of wood on my small floor jack to clear the car's front end. These are very stable jacks and gave great ground clearance without having to raise the ratchet bar.
