24pcs HO Scale 1:87 33'' Metal Wheels for Model Train DC Wheel Set New C8725

I bought these to replace the plastic wheels on the rolling stock that came with an RTR train set from Bachmann. They fit perfectly on all 3 cars and roll very well. I can push the caboose, and it will roll nearly the entire track, and it's a 7' oval with an s-curve on one side so that is impressive. They also added significant weight making those cheaper cars feel much more solid. A set of 4 plastic wheels was just under 2 grams and 4 of these come in at 14 grams, so more than 7 times heavier. And I am finding the cars are much easier to rail now as well, so very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend them.

These wheels were exactly what I needed. I am getting back into model railroading after about a 50 year layoff. My son and I have been buying new locomotives and rollings stock for the layout we are building. However, I have some of my old Tyco rolling stock that holds sentimental value. My son was also interested in getting those old cars on the track. We wanted to upgrade the original plastic wheels and these worked perfectly.

These roll incredibly well as a replacement for plastic wheels. They are heavy, smooth, and are machined very nicely. Really nice value.

I bought these to experiment with some of my less expensive pieces of rolling stock, Tyco to be specific. These wheel sets dropped right in with no fuss and no muss.What a huge difference the make. They roll so good, that they will coast in a hump yard.

I have upgraded my train cars with the new ones and I am satisfied. They are easier to clean and keep the track cleaner.

I tried to use to replace my plastic wheel set with metal ones. But they are not in Ho gauge not even close the axle are way to short!! They will not fit into the side frame cups and fall out do not order totally useless no one vender or Amazon would help. Only order from a US source inter mountain or Walter’s .lam so done with cheep China junk.
