This swing set is a little on the expensive side but absolutely worth it. It is massive and it looks like we will never need to buy another!! It is very sturdy

I was able to put the frame of the swing set together by myself and hang all the attachments while it was laying down. It came with all the tools needed- with the exception of a 10mm socket on a ratchet. Everything else in there. The anchors are stuffed into the top beams. Just so you know where to find them. Extra nuts and bolts and screws came with it. It took me a couple of hours to attach what I could and lay it down on the lawn and then one more hour to attach the legs and side poles and leg feet base which required a second person as I could not align the holes in the legs with the top beam without someone holding the weight of the leg pole. Then we were able to flip it up and it was all done. I have average sized children- aged 6 and 8- and I haven’t attached the stakes yet (that part seems tricky) but the frame is so heavy and everything so sturdy that they are both able to play on it without it even rocking. I was very pleased and my children love it and it supposedly fits adults who are less than 150 pounds. I am able to swing on it just fine and I am an average size female adult. Very very happy with the purchase- and I have never been happy enough in the past to write a review.

This is the perfect swing. Big enough for even adults and very sturdy. Assembly was pretty simple except we removed a couple leg sections in order to assemble top bar…just put legs back on when top bar was installed. Took 2 adults about 3 hours to assemble. Parts were well labeled but written instructions just included pictures…no written directions. Tried to use BILT app but it was a sunny day so could not see app on my phone. Delivery was worst part. Was delivered a day late with no communication on delivery at all. No call or text that delivery was delayed. No 30 minute pre call letting us no delivery was on its way. They just showed up when I was away. Left it in driveway anyway. But kids love the swing set and it looks like it will last for years…kids won’t outgrow it!

The media could not be loaded. After a lot of thought about what to put in a home playground for our large family, I bought two of these. They are excellent. They are large and sturdy, and I feel comfortable that they will hold up well to any kind of use and abuse from our five kids. My husband built them both outside in the rain in just a couple hours on Christmas Eve, and he didn’t have any complaints about the building process. It took the two of us to push them up into position. My husband and I have both tried them out ourselves with no issues, but generally they are used by our kids ages 2-11. They’re large for a 2-year-old (but his siblings help him to make it work), fine for our 3-year-old, great for the 6- 8- and 11-year olds, and the kids will never physically outgrow them. I did not think the safe play area in the user manual was adequate, so we expanded our playground pad to be about 36’ front to back. We added a locally made merry go round and a digging area, and now we have a nice-sized low-maintenance playground without spending much on equipment.

We just purchased this to replace a 20 year old rainbow swingset. It was purchased for our teen who has special needs and loves to swing daily. This swingset arrived quickly in 3 boxes and was easy to assemble. You do need two people at times. Total build time was approximately 3 1/2 hours. The swingset is great because it is 10 feet high so our son can swing a lot higher than he could on our old swingset that was 8 feet high. The two swings and trapeze bar that come with it are heavy duty and the swing chains are heavy duty. We ordered a rope swing to put on it and we were able to put our son's large web swing on as well. The center area holds the trapeze bar so the clips are farther apart and therefore held our son's larger webswing perfectly. If you are debating between this and the one by lifetime - I would 100% recommend this (the Big Brutus). We first ordered the Lifetime swingset (looks similar to this but is only 8 feet tall vs 10 feet) and only 1 of the 2 boxes arrived and we could not get the second missing box shipped to us. So we had to return. Now I. am happy that happened because I then did more research and found this and I. think this is a much better option. This swingset also came with the anchors to anchor into the ground whereas you have to order the ones for the Lifetime swingset separately and pay extra.

This is a very sturdy swing set. The Legs set into the ground with large screw bolts (kind of like a bolt screw you would put into the ground to retain a dog). So if your ground is hard, that might be difficult. We found it very hard to put together. Screws are unique where they screw head to head inside space where they join. I understand that to be for safety, but honestly it would be easier to have screw to go all the way through and put a protective topper on the end that came out on other side. If it weren't right before Christmas I would have bought the toddler swing all put together. the toddler swing comes in pieces, I thought it was all together when I ordered. This took two people to hold and we ended up having to drill holes that would match up. It was very frustrating.The whole set took two grandparents and a stong 6' Dad to put together...probably 6 hours total withput toddler swing. I wouldn't even attempt to put the Big Brutus together unless I had professional help. The kids do love it. We have 5 year old and two year old grandchildren. This set seems to be the perfect size for them them now, but I would imagine by 6-7 it becoming to small. This is so strong, I think in latter years it will support a nice porch swing for two people. The color is plain green and White, but I think the white can easily be spray painted to a color you might prefer.

Luckily friends called us and my husband has a tractor with forks!The swing set is PERFECTION. Excellent to put together. Strong poles. Even the chains are coated. Just buy this one!!
