See You Later, Alligator

Cute story of a turtle going on an adventure but before he leaves, he has to say goodbye to all his friends. Very neat rhyming book. The grandkids really liked it!

This book is a cute book that included great pictures of zoo animals and a funny store about a turtle wanting to go on an adventure. Ultimately, never leaves the gate in time before the zoo closes. Toddlers and kids will read and hear lots of rhyming verses in this story. Great for littles.

I am writing this under my husband's account. This book is so adorable and fun to read to my grand children. The rhyming is so catchy and great for giggles as we read the book together. Highly recommend.

I bought this on a whim, and read it to my kids tonight and they both loved it! And I loved it! I bought it thinking it would be fun to read to my daughter’s preschool class, I think I will read it every night! It would also be good for kids learning to read, as it’s fun, whimsical, and has funny greetings for each animal!

Too advanced for an advanced 2 year old.

The illustrations and story line are adorable!! Great as a gift.

My eldest granddaughter and I always share a funny way of saying goodbye when she leaves me. See you later Alligator! In awhile, Crocodile! With a hug, Ladybug! And a kiss, little Miss! And so on, so this was a perfect book to share with her! It will be read over and over and over and inspire us to make up more silly rhymes! Lots of fun is ahead!

We came across this book among some toys at a coffee shop and couldn’t find it anywhere. We managed to find a second hand copy on Amazon and it’s in perfect condition. The story follows a turtle around the zoo, talking to other animals. Both of my boys especially love the double page at the front with the map of the zoo. They retell the story in their own words.

Lovely book. My son is obsessed with the rhymes. My only complaint is that it now takes ages to leave the house as he has to go through all these rhymes!
