Soothe Mosquito Bug Bite Relief Itch Go Relieve

The media could not be loaded.  I am reviewing the GoEa Soothe Mosquito Bug Bite Relief Itching Pocket Zapper Itch Go Relieve by GoEa. I was not sure what to think of this product. I had never heard of this kind of insect bite treatment, but I live in Arizona where the biting insects are plentiful. I have a 4 year old family member that is always getting bit no matter what we do and the idea of chemical free treatment sounded great to me. The actual device is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It would easily fit in a pocket or purse. It actually puts out a visible shock when pressed. I used it on a bite on the the 4 year old and it did seem to help with the swelling, but she said that it still itched after the first treatment of 5 zaps. I was reluctant to use it too many time on her though. The Amazon listing says that it is safe for kids 12 months or older but the packaging says 4 years or older and not to use on people that are epileptic or have a pacemaker. I tried it on myself of course before I tried it on the 4 year old and it can give you a little jolt. Its not painful, but it is significant. I can see how it would make your tissues numb to the itch, though I am not sure how long that relief would last. Just on a side note, the 4 year old girl was not afraid of it at all but the 19 year old girl wouldn't go near it. The 17 year old boy may just do it to himself for fun. Some say it doesn’t work. I’m on my third one and I love it!!! Mosquitoes seek me out, so I’m always getting bitten. I love the convenience and that there is no mess. Take it anywhere. What this seems to do is disrupt your nerves in that area so that you don’t feel the pain or itch. The trick is that you have to shoot the whole area, on and around the bite. It might take 10 or more shots, but just keep doing it until it stops itching. The great thing is after a day or 2 it stops itching completely! I use it once in the morning then again at night, if needed. The package says that it’s good for about a thousand shots, then the crystal wears out. It lasted me for about one summer. Great bargain and relief for about $10! Worth every penny! Highly recommend!

I tried this on several mosquito bites. I applied it first directly on the top of the bite and then tried around the bite. First, on the two day old bites, no help at all. Next on the one day old bites, it didn't do much when applied directly on top of the bite but helped a little when applied around the bite. Then on a brand new bite, no real affect directly on top but some affect when applied around the bite. I shocked the area at least 10 times each time. It lessened the intensity from 10 (bad) to about a 6. Which makes the itching bearable but it is still there. It is somewhat unpleasant, rather like getting jabbed. If you are sensitive or havea sensitive child they are not likely to be real happy with it being applied. The device is small and very easy to carry. I was not real impressed with this and would not consider it to be my "go to" mosquito bite sure. Maybe somewhat handy for a picnic or to stick in your pocket.I want to thank the seller for letting me purchase this item for a reduced or free cost in exchange for an unbiased review. I have to say I was completely skeptical about this thing and really didn't have high hopes of it working. Living In Florida we deal with bugs. Lots and lots of the little buggers. One of us in my family will undoubtedly get a bite from something every single day in the summer. The mosquitos here are relentless and they are trying to kill us I think. I just couldn't stand the intense itching that these bites give us so I was very happy when offered this at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review. I started with my son who had a huge bite on his leg that was absolutely driving him insane. I placed this over the bite and hit it with the zap that this produces and he said it was instant relief. I had to use it one more time on him u till the bite healed but this completely controlled the itching. Who knew this little crazy product would work so well, but it did!

I wasn't really sure if this was going to work but thought why not try it out. My grandson seems to get bitten several times a weekend on his legs and arms. All he wants to do is scratch them. He had several bites on his leg that he would not stop scratching and touching . I put mosquito zapper over the bite and hit it with the zap and it seemed to stop the itching. I noticed he left the bites alone after treating them with the zapper and he said no more itchy. I like that it is so compact that I can carry it with me wherever in my pocket. Great for taking camping. Received this product at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review. Would purchase again

I love this product & highly recommend. It’s awkward to hold for hard to reach spots, like behind the leg. I like that I don’t have to use products that leave a sticky residue.

I am very prone to mosquitos finding me and delivering a field of bites all over. I was very excited to hear about this product. But it did not seem to help at all. Disappointed. Would not recommend.

I get bug bites all the time and they itch like crazy. Nothing I've tried ever gave itch relief .... until now. This little gadget is incredible; works like a charm. After one "zap" the itch stops and I forget the bite is there. I highly recommend it.
