Blueberry Pet 5 Designs Classic Solid or Love Peace Breakaway Cat Collars, with Personalization Options

This was my third purchase of breakaway cat collars from Blueberry, and I continue to be impressed. This time I went for the custom embroidery after a phone number change invalidated their old ID tags. The less danglies, the better too. Not many reviews had pictures of the embroidery for color match comparisons, so I took a chance and couldn’t be happier. They do a fantastic job with matching to the exact colors on the collars, to coordinate or contrast depending on taste. My only complaint I have is that they don’t make more cat collars as I’m particularly partial to the breakaway buckle they use. Most breakaways are really cheap, with prongs that break. These slip in / pop together and hold with friction. I’ve never had my kitties yank one off on their own, but when they’ve gotten into intense wrestling matches they’ve come off, which I feel is appropriate. I took the bows off of ours with a seam ripper, because they are just too tempting for my crew to chew and they’re a sensory stressor for them. They are quite long so when adjusting the length, it does interrupt the embroidery. I was able to at least move it before the name for my little ones and after for my bigger boys. If they made the bow addition an option or adjustable, it would probably make for a better view of the embroidery for the average neck circumferences. Still, we’re very happy!

The main reason I bought these wasn't to make my cats look even more adorable, it's to keep them from killing birds. My thinking is that the bright colors will make them more visible to the birds and after months of use, I can confirm that my objective worked. They almost never leave me "gifts" on my doorstep anymore. The collars are very durable with almost no fraying, but if your cat licks it obsessively, that would probably change.Two things to be aware of: The clasp seems a little too snug where I worry my cats wouldn't be able to free themselves if snagged, but in that one cat came home without her collar, I guess they're okay. Also, I re-positioned the bows on all four of the collars I bought so they'd line up opposite of the bell and stay on top of the cat for more visibility to birds. To move the bow, cut the attaching thread with a razor blade and sew it back on with strong thread. It takes about 10 minutes.

I'm always paranoid about cat collars choking and killing my cat so I've always purchased safecat collars. Only problem, my kitty loves to chew on them and breaks the clasp. With the most recent design ofsafe cat, he can break the clasp within days of getting a new collar. So, in desperation, I looked to see if there were any other designs. I found this one. My kitty has been wearing it for at least 2-3 months now and he's yet to break the clasp. He still tries to chew on it but it's a bit too big to be a satisfying chew toy for him so he usually spits it out after a few chews.I'm not super excited by the design and colors but I'm not picky at this point.

These collars are very high quality, and better than the similar priced ones I bought at Petco. My cat has never managed to open the clasp herself, but it’s pretty easy to open with human hands.However, the collar is very big for petite adult cats. My cat is a long and lean 8lbs and it’s in the smallest setting and fits just right. Would be better if it adjusted down to 7” or 8” inches for small cats and older kittens.Still a little too big for my stocky 5 month old kitten, but I’m pretty sure he will be a big cat, so I keep trying it on him every couple weeks.

I like these collars a lot. I have bought 10 so far (5 sets of various colors). My cats have been wearing the Love & Peace and Salmon color collars for over a year now, I bought those ones in November 2017. They do not wear into the neck like a cheap brand I bought at a local store. Sebastian does chew on the bell...but he doesn’t take the collar off, he doesn’t mind it. The break away buckle works great.

Adorable cat collars. Love the bell to alert me to their ninja-like cat presence. With two in this package, the price is fair. While I understand the purpose of the breakaway collar, I'm not especially fond of the breakaway feature and prefer a traditional latch, thus my 4/5 star review. However, if you really like the breakaway feature to prevent your cat from getting caught on something as it leaps from place to place, and perhaps choking to death, this is an excellent 5 star product.

I purchased this collar for one of my cats that seems to have reactions to other collars. I'm writing this review now because we had to wait for her neck to heal to use it. It is wonderful!!!! It is so light and so soft. She has not had any skin reactions to this collar. I'm so relieved. The vendor that sold it to us emailed me to see if we liked the collar and I explained the situation. He said he would touch back with me later to see how she did and he did but her neck was still healing. I lost his email but if he reads this review he will get his answer. I only have one tiny problem, the way you make it smaller is just a slip knot that you slid. Well it doesn't stay tight, it keep having to tighten it. I think I'll use a dab of super glue to hold it. Please if you have a baby with sensitive skin this IS the collar for you!!!!

We bought these for our very small, dark puppy, so we know where she is and are less likely to step on her. The bell is great and the collars are super cute!

These collars Have the look and feel of much more expensive items.I love the funky unusual designs and was pleased to see the quality was also superior to most regular cat collars. I chose the 'love and peace' collar for my younger cat and I think it just looks adorable. The geometric pink pattern is somewhat lost on my long haired oldee cat but it does suit her, not too garish.In particular the safety catch seems that it will not spring open too readily. Time will tell! Although it has survived one night out. I removed the bells for my cats and my personal sanity. Used the D ring to attach ID tags.I am so pleased with these collars I am going to order a different set to have them ready to replace these when they are either lost or worn out.

Super cute! I have an massive Scottish Fold Blue so this bright colours are just what he needs, a colour spot. Beautiful, safe( it never falls off but wanna mention that the cat is very calm and sweet) and esy to put it on and off. I do recommend this particular ones.

Super cute for my 2 cats but came off all the time and we lost one within a few days. Shame as they were super cute. I now have ones that cost 89p and have stayed on for weeks.
