Jack was going downhill until this saved him.
Our 9-year-old Westiepoo Terrier "Jack" was headed downhill after being diagnosed with Cushing's disease. He started losing a lot of hair all over his body, chewed off all his hair from his hands & legs, skin blisters, and most importantly a big pot belly! We started him off with this every day alongside Ashwagandha (350mg), Milk Thistle, & Dandelion. Unfortunately, it seemed he was doing worse as the months flew by and we were worried Jack's under too much pain to live through it.Until we cut back the Milk Thistle & Dandelion, adjusted his water intake carefully (one 375ml cup every 1-2 hours), while only giving him his proportional doses of HMR Lignans with Ashwagandha every day. Believe it or not, it worked! Jack is feeling much better now and got his entire fur coat back and it even looks healthier than ever! His pot belly reduced but is still relatively there, which makes sense since his stomach muscles got really relaxed after several months being bloated. So I'd highly recommend this, but make sure to do the following as well:1. Monitor and adjust water intake carefully.Just cause your dog is constantly thirsty, doesn't mean you should keep giving them water whenever they give you the puppy eyes. Jack was begging endlessly until we put our foot down and decided that all the water intake was making his condition much worse. One 375ml cup every 1-2 hours should be more than enough.2. Be careful what other natural supplements you're giving your dog.Ashwagandha worked for Jack, whereas Milk Thistle & Dandelion didn't. Or maybe it was the fact we were giving him too many supplements at once. I am uncertain, so be careful and go slowly with 1-2 supplements first.3. Give your dog a lot of love and attention.Your dog is going through a lot of pain, it will need comforting during this difficult journey. We recently also got another female Akita as well, which backfired miserably at first, made him constantly anxious as he's quite dominant and she was a threat to his comfort zone. However, when she went into her period, Jack started to warm up to her a lot, they became closer, and Jack was feeling much better afterwards. So since there isn't that much information out there, I thought I'd share my experience with Jack here in hopes it'll help someone out there!Good luck and hope your dog will feel much better soon.

Awesome!
This product is great! My dog is so picky with everything she eats and she absolutely loves this little pill. She acts like it’s a treat :)

My old girl with Cushings is doing better with this supplement.
I give this supplement to my girl at night in her soft food. She eats it with no problem. Pills are small for her. She's been on this supplement for over a month now and has had no UTI flair ups so far. I believe it's helping with her cortisol levels. Her skin/coat is looking better, but is taking time. She also doesn't drink her water as often or has needed to urinate as often. She stays asleep all night most of the time with less panting. It has made a huge difference. I took her completely off the prescription Veterol because she was having bad symptoms. I'm thankful I found this and will continue to give to her as long as it helps her. She weighs about 60 lbs, I give her 3 pills in the evening every day and it lasts a month. It's a much better affordable price compared to the Veterol, which was very expensive for a large dog.

Really helps my dog with all symptoms!! But they just changed the pill & added a coating! :-(
Love this product, have used for over a year and it really helps my 15-year old Maltese-Bichon with her symptoms. I'm on my 6th bottle! Was very disappointed when I opened this bottle, as they've CHANGED the pill! It was always easy to crush up into her food or break in half, even with my fingers. Now it has a HARD coating on it, and it takes massive strength to crush it with a spoon (better use a hammer!). So inconvenient. I ordered the same product as always - wonder why we weren't informed of the pill coating being added? I can't find another product that has such great ingredients, so I'm stuck with this pill that is SO hard to crush up into her food! :-(

It worked for my dog
Our dog's vet said he suspected Cushing's disease. Our 11 year old dog had a tender belly that was a bit distended, was lethargic, didn't want to walk most of the time, looked and sounded unhappy, and her blood work showed elevated results indicating possible Cushing's. They wanted to do lots more tests to confirm but we didn't want to do that to her and instead I started her on these. Wow is all I can say. It changed everything, she's much happier, peppier, is going for walks, and her stomach is no longer tender or enlarged. I am really stunned, I was preparing myself for her demise, but now I think she has more time. Thank you is all I can say.

Great product, wasteful packaging
The media could not be loaded. It’s like someone told the owner that it would be a good idea to put the pills in a REALLY BIG bottle because consumers are lemmings. I’ve never seen so much stuffing inside a bottle for just a few measly little pills at the bottom in my life. I order these because it’s easier for my dog sitter and walker to have one fewer pills to give, but the packaging is ridiculous, wasteful, and maddening . It’s a GIANT bottle that takes up too much space in my small kitchen for a tiny pill. All so the owner can have their dog’s pic on the label? Try to fool consumers? A little of both? I don’t know, but I dump out the pills every time and put it into a smaller plain bottle, and shake my head at the enormous amount of cotton and plastic this wastes. I care about my dog, and yet I also care about you single-handedly filling a landfill with bad packaging choices.

When will these be available again? My poor dog needs them.
My senior maltese is slowing down and fat like a little pig. She drinks a ton of water and is always hungry. When I had these pills, she peed less and hunger was under control. Even lost a little weight. Without them, she lays down all day and sleeps. She has not been diagnosed with cushings but I believe she has it. I’ll have to try another brand til these are available again. Used to crush the pill and put it on her food. She likes the taste.
