Looks finished, seems sturdy enough for jewelry and miscellaneous cluttery stuff. I bought this for all the small stuff I keep on my chairside table that my dog loves to chew up. The 5-drawer size holds a lot! One drawer has started sticking just a little bit in the East Texas humidity. A little waz on the drawer fixed it. It's perfect for pens/pencils, phone stylus, manicure items, remotes, eye drops, money, notepads, etc. I'm very happy with it.

I set this on the corner of the fireplace hearth next to my recliner, put the tea cup warmer and a small clock on top and the remotes in the drawers. It's crudely made - the drawers don't have rollers or guides - but it works well, looks nice and does the handy things I want - controlling the remotes and having my cup of tea at a convenient place to pick up and sip. I can see it being a nice organizer on a dresser or chest of drawers. It looks cool and is handy.

I love this product I store all my art pens and brushes in it. It’s beautiful made and one of my favorite purchases from Amazon!

The chest overall is well made but has a somewhat rough finish. The drawers slide on wood bottom rails with no side guides so they cant to the side when pulled out and must be guided carefully back in. I use it for small files, drill sets, centerpunches, etc. Good for drawing pencils and erasers, mechanical lead packs, etc. Heavy items will make it harder to get the drawer out and in. Not a bad product, especially if you are willing to make side guides for the drawers.

I bought 2 of these fun all wood 5-drawer cabinets because they have a fun French Button Shop vibe. The drawers are stamped with the French words MERCERIE (translates to NOTIONS/HABERDASHERY) and BOUTON (means BUTTON), but aren’t from/made in France.After they arrived, I realized that they’d be perfect for sorting my piles of antique and vintage buttons into 15 different material categories and that I really could use one more. I ordered another one of these right away. Three of these cabinets are the perfect way to organize new buttons coming into my collection and will give my hobby room some help staying neat and desk cleared off.It is ready to use right out of the box, with nothing to put together. The drawers all fit well and slide easily. The best thing is the antiqued metal label holders. I made my own customized labels for each drawer on my computer. I plan to line each drawer with black felt for a little protection and keep buttons from sliding about inside. I’ll also use small cardboard jewelry type boxes to separate some things in each drawer when needed. The drawers are completely removable, so I can take one out, go to my desk and work on them and then put everything away. Recommended for collector or crafter!

Attractive and practical storage.

It’s a great little chest of drawers. The rustic concept is a nice addition to about any motif. The effort in construction is absolutely lacking. A juvenile with a pneumatic pin nailer and a little time could copy the quality of construction. The sides bow out and can easily be pressed into place. The drawers close smoothly enough empty, however, they stop at random depths. Basic construction flaws that anyone with a sense of pride would never tolerate. I didn’t expect dovetailed joints or brass trim, but I feel that I have paid too much for what I have received. If I had considered this purchase in a brick and mortar store I would have walked away. I’m disappointed in the reviews stating how wonderfully the unit was built. It seems quality workmanship is truly becoming a lost art if this passes for acceptable. After a few day of tidying up the shortcomings I will put it to use. I will make it a point not to purchase from this source again.

I bought several of these. I sew doll clothes and have a lot of sewing trims in small amounts. They were stored in different ways, boxes with dividers and other things. I could never find what I wanted. Now they are all sorted and the drawers labeled. I can find what I want quickly. The drawers are shallow and not large. They are meant for small items. I loved not having to assemble anything. They come completely finished. A good solution to many storage problems. I can see using them for sorting colored pencils and other art supplies or even as jewelry boxes.
