This umbrella has a beautiful pattern, and blocks the sun very well. Very cute, have recommended to a lot of my friends.

I bought this for our cruise to the Bahamas. I am allergic to the sun so I needed something that could block it well. One complaint is the smell. I'm not sure what the smell is but it's not pleasant. The second complaint is the pain it is to open. You have to pull down the ends, they don't open automatically. Difficult to explain in writing. I do like the design and lightness of the umbrella and it does protect you from the sun.

The image was very blurry. Not at all what I was expecting. The outside was almost like a raincoat material. Thick and rubbery. Not tight against the metal frame. It would have worked to keep the sun out, I'm sure, but I was displeased with the image and the general slackness of the material. Umbrella fabric should be tight, not flopping around.

I'm pasty white, and burn really easy. Knowing this, I purchased this umbrella for UV protection during Rock Fest in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Couple issues with the way it's made, and folds up. First, some of the fabric began to fray on day one. No big deal, day two the handle unscrewed constantly, and was easy to reassemble but annoying. Day three, the metal rods that lined the inside of the umbrella kept dislodging, and I kept having to reseat them in their proper positions. I believe this is due to the way it was made.The reason I give this product four stars with all the little problems because it worked far beyond my expectations.The sun was no match for this umbrella, not a spec of light bled through, and created the shade I so desired. Also I received a ton of compliments regarding the design, and beauty of this umbrella, and lastly it did rain a bit on day two, and it handled that flawlessly as you'd expect from an umbrella.I consider this a designer umbrella, and just like my designer clothing, I'll use it for specific occasions.

Did not like how cheaply made this umbrella was & it did not work well. I did return this umbrella and got a refund.

Immediately returning item. The mechanism does not work correctly. Every time the umbrella is opened, it points backwards. You have to manually turn it the correct direction. Would not be very functional, but the inside is nice.

It's impressive, compact, and very pretty. Construction's a little flimsy and the loop isn't large enough to carry this on my wrist if needed. Still, the design is unique and I get loads of compliments on it!
