Bees (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 2)

I ordered it for as 10 yr old granddaughter as a Christmas gift. The quality is very good, and pictures colorful and the information is fantastic. I want my granddaughter to learn about the Bees and Butterflies.I also gave her the Butterfly book.Very informative and easy to read, can be for all ages. I thought it would be too young for granddaughter, but it appeals to all age groups.National Geographic is an amazing organziation, my daughter who is 50 used to get their children's magazine.

This is a good addition to young readers library. Appropriate text, good photos. This is a small thin book.

We were gifted a subscription to Nat Geo Kids and my son (5yr old) has really enjoyed it. He is a pre-reader but has been able to decode some words. The print is a perfect size and there are just enough words on the page. It's perfect for his comprehension level. He is about to turn 6, very interested in nature and does have a slightly higher comprehension level than most kindergarteners but I would still say it's appropriate for younger readers.

The best series ever for young readers. It is very hard to find books for young readers that are based on the natural world. The photos are beautiful, the storyline is full of accurate, interesting, scientific facts about the creatures, and has a vocabulary building review at the back of the book. And each book in this series has several upside down jokes that reference the animal, an added point of interest for Montessori and all children. BTW, I have gotten more than 30 of these books for my classroom. Highly recommended!

Bought this nice book for my grandson. He's 7 and is fast becoming a beekeeper. Never too soon to learn the value of books.

Ny 8 year old niece loves this book, its information and pictures about bees are very good.

My son picked this out to write a “report” about bees. He’s in kindergarten so a report equals 3 sentences consisting of have, are, can sentences. He gave this book 4 stars because while it was very informative some of the facts were “gross” 😂
