This book is critical for any educator who wishes to have student-led discussions as an integral part of their school curriculum. The Oracy framework simplifies “learning to talk” and “learning through talk” for teachers in a manner that works very well in primary and secondary schools. The content on the British parliamentary debate system was a real learning for me and I thought the assessment tool kit was very effective and apt for our learning environment.

This is an excellent book which is packed full of practical ideas in which to promote oracy in the classroom. It compliments all of the Voice 21 work beautifully.

This book has made such a powerful impact on the way I see language development for English Learners and Spanish Learners. It has definitely steered a goal for our Professional Development teacher opportunities in our department.

Great book however the delivery driver was extremely rude to my mother. No greeting, abrupt behaviour, did not explain what he was doing as he had to go to and from the van multiple times (my order had many items). I understand drivers are under pressure to deliver items before a specific time however there is no excuse for rude behaviour. I order regularly so if I do see the same driver again I will share my opinion to him.
