These locks work well as replacements for the locks on my service truck boxes. I bought one lock to try and then 5 more once I made sure they would work. Five of the locks work great but the sixth one is having trouble making the complete rotation so that the key can be taken out. It just wont let go of the key without a struggle in either the locked or unlocked position, but i'm happy with the purchase of these locks that are all keyed alike.

the lock on my tool box broke ..i was going to replace it with a snap-on lock but the cost is crazy.. 60 bucks !!... so instead i gave Tubular Cam locks a try...it was the best idea ever ... i measured the locks on my box and matched it with the ones they sell.. it worked great .. all together its a great lock ..and i strongly recommend it .. thank you

Works exactly as described; but for my application, the metal "lock" part didn't fit well. I made it work with what I had. The lock itself is very smooth (keys work great).Uses 3/4 inch wrench to remove/install

I ordered six of these cam locks, they work smooth, arrived fast and the fit perfect. I bought these for my work truck. This was the first seller I could find that actually listed the dimensions of their item in a way that you could understand with it drawn out. And lastly they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the product. Will definitely buy again!

I used this lock cylinder to replace a broken lock cylinder on an old tool box. My sole complaint is that there was not a photo or a description of the back side of the lock cylinder. The old lock had a 5/16" male square on the back of the lock cylinder. The new one had a male "double D". I was able to make the new one work by cutting off the double D steel piece and brazing it to the existing lock bars.

I bought 3 of these for my work truck/camper.It seemed as it was going to be an easy fix. After installing all 3 doing the same process in all of them - 2 locks stopped working a few days later and 1 lock is still good. The 2 locks got stock halfway while turning so now i cant Even use the tubular key because it wont go in. I tried, tried and tried even went on youtube to find possible solution but I couldn’t get it fixed.The one lock that works hasn’t given me problems and it does the job.

Fits my cross tool box perfectly. Measure your existing lock or hole before you order so you get the right size.The locking bar is long so I needed to cut it down to fit, but that was easy. I am happy with this product and the extra layer of security that the tubular lock provides.
