Department 56Accessories for Villages Bag-O-Frosted Topiaries Tree

This is a good tree set. You get a nice variety of sizes and styles and because they're Dept 56, they're made really well with good detail. We use them for our Christmas train layout and every year, we either are replacing trees or feel we don't have enough. This is perfect set for both, replacing and adding. Highly recommend.

I have a large collection of Christmas villages and these trees have enhanced the appearance of it. They look realistic and compliment each village that I have been building over the years. As I add to my collection, I will be buying more of these trees.

I love these trees! I have some from a different company and the tree “limbs” on those seem almost spiral in nature and you can see the spirals. You can hopefully see that in the photo. These trees from department 56 are full and plush and have just the right amount of snow. They are a great quality! I won’t order any other name brand now.

These are a good price for a set of 8 genuine Dept. 56 trees. Like many other reviewers have noted, the trees will arrive slightly mashed together as a part of the handling process at Amazon. These trees are shipped inside the original bag in a box, which at normal stores has been handled with care until being placed on the shelf. If you are okay spending some time fluffing the trees, save your money and buy these. Afterall, they are trees and nature has some slight malformations of it's own.

A magazine I was looking through had a glass display cloche over a group of evergreens sitting on snow. I had the cloche and change it seasonally but had done nothing yet for the Christmas holidays. I ordered this set of trees, tore bits of cotton to look like snow covering the ground - okay, the base of the cloche holder. The trees sitting atop the snow were so strikingly attractive. Perhaps I'll find another spot for them next year but I suspect they will go back under the glass where they received so many compliments when we entertained this past season. They were well made, were a good color and there is a nice variety of shapes. Delivery was spot on and I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Some of the trees were a little squashed in places. Possibly due to the fact that it arrived in padded packaging rather than a box. Despite this it was easy to pinch the affected area in to shape. Sets off the lighted buildings beautifully
