So I was bummed with my local Ulta couldn't keep the Real Techniques cleaning pad on the shelves and was tired of waiting so I decided to search amazon. I came across these make up brush cleaners, and for the price decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did. It makes cleaning my make up brushes easy. I put my pointer and middle finger into the slot and under water and some brush cleaner, run the makeup brush over the flat side of the brush cleaner and the grooves really help to remove all the left over makeup residue from my brushes. The price can't be beat and it works great so I am so happy with my purchase! Thanks!

The two different textured nubs really get in between the bristles and do a fantastic job cleaning the brush! As a test, I used these on some brushes that had been used with Halloween makeup (both cream and paste) ten months ago and never cleaned and were dry and crusty. After soaking the brushes to soften the makeup, I put a squirt of dishsoap on the tool, and the nubs on these made short work of the old makeup! If they can clean that, I have no doubts they will do a good job on brushes with normal makeup.

Honestly, I'm not sure this is a must have. I was using brush cleansers on my makeup brushes before I bought this product just using my hand alone and I'm getting the same results as I get when I use the brush egg. But if you're unsure, it doesn't hurt to spend a couple bucks on this thing. It is quite inexpensive! What I have noticed is that the egg does stain a bit from makeup when cleaning your brushes so beware of that when buying it. You'll have to start cleaning your brush egg after you clean your brushes. I imagined the soap being rubbed against the egg would keep it clean but I guess not.

Works perfect. Takes less time to wash brushes compared to hand washing. Even used on "clean" brushes that I haven't used in a while and there was still some makeup residue. Gross. The only problem with it is that not easy or comfortable to handle.

This item works great for what I need. My face tends to get oily and that leaves residue on my makeup brush which causes break outs (according to my mom's opinion on the matter). I really needed a quick way to keep my brushes clean. I use baby shampoo as the soap and so far haven't had as many break outs on my face as usual.

Wish I had these years ago! I use baby shampoo to clean my brushes. I used to have to use a lot of shampoo to get them clean. With this tool, it takes half the time for me to clean and only a very small amount of shampoo! I've recommended these to everyone I know.

I like to keep these things in my makeup bag when I travel so that I can wash my brushes on the go. They're super cute and easy to use. Ideal for when you have to wash a brush here and there.
