I lined my meat bin with these as well as my vegetable and fruit bin. I got a wet package of bloody meat and it leaked onto the pad. The pad absorbed it like a champ, but I was put out that it was ruined. Then I thought let me try to wash it. The blood is liquid, not true blood so not as staining. I ran it under the faucet and it cleaned up extremely well, you can't tell it was ever stained. I squeezed it out and hung it out and it dried and back in the fridge. Couldn't be happier.
