Does Not Work With XBox 360 Unless You Have Adapter
I wasn't sure how many stars to give this because we never even opened the box before we sent them back. I have no idea about the quality, just that they don't work with the XBox 360 unless you have a special adapter. Not really knowing anything about my son's XBox 360, I bought these for a Christmas present. I skimmed over the comments for this and saw that someone was using these with an XBox 360. I thought that meant it worked. I didn't realize that person was hooking up the headset through another piece of equipment. Fortunately my son told me before Christmas that the XBox 360 takes special headphones so I could get the correct set in here. Maybe the other video game systems do this too - I don't know. I'm just a mom trying to figure it out. But I know now that the XBox 360 needs a special adapter to work with any "computer" type gaming headsets, which seem to be more plentiful and cheaper.

Disappointment
Pros:-Light-Comfortable-Stays on headCons:-Just OK Sound quality(I was disappointed in that, as my previous ear phones had better sound quality.)-Too fragile, I took extremely good care of my headset, never dropped it etc. But 1 month later my brother stepped on the cord and I dropped my headset, only a 2 foot drop though. Well anyways, it worked fine after wards but 30 minutes later the right earphone stopped working. Now, I don't if it's because it fell 2 feet on to carpet or if it's just a coincidence that it happened 30 minutes later. But I'm quite disappointed that it won't work anymore and I can't return it.-The microphone has good quality but it's very quite. You'll have to boost your microphone sounds a lot.All in all, I think this is a bad headset. If you want a cheap and decent headset go with something else like Sony. Turtle beach can obviously only make expensive, high quality, bulky headsets. Not any small cheap ones like the Z1.

Good for a bit
Very good quality headphones. The mic sound is nice, I love how adjustable it is, the foam makes it sound infinitely better. The speakers on the headphones themselves are really nice too. Overall, really good headphones. That is, if they lasted over a month without going bad.It took about a month for one of the ears to stop working entirely. After about 4 weeks of happiness they decided my time was up and left me with nothing but frustration and a slight awkward feeling while hearing anything. I know this isn't just a one-time thing. I tried these headphones probably about 3 times until I realized that all they're gonna do is die out halfway. This is too bad because these are actually kinda nice to use. However, if you are looking for temporary ones, these are good if you're willing to spend this much money. I would highly recommend saving about 30 more dollars just to get the X12. I've had these for over half a year and they've shown no sign of struggle since. That and they're slightly better. Get them right here. Turtle Beach EarForce X12 Headset

Works great, once I super-glued it.
This headset arrived with one muff detached from the main body of the headset. I decided that instead of trying to return it for a non-broken unit, my time would be better spent trying to glue the muff back on. That was a few weeks ago, and the repair seems to be holding. The swivel joints that hold the muffs on are tiny and seem to be a poor design.Otherwise, the headset works great! Even at a lower volume, I hear less background noise. Fidelity seems to be as good as any headset I've ever owned, which is amazing considering the price. I haven't used the mic for anything yet.

Good set
I like the headset. I use it to DJ online and the mic works great. I have had real expensive ones and the head set was great but the mic was junk. The only thing I don't like about this set is that the mic is hard to keep in one spot. It swivels a lot and drops down. Sound is ok for what you pay for them and they are ok to wear for some time. All in all I would say they are a good buy for the money.

This is my favorite headset for teaching online!
The Turtle Beach Ear Force Z1 is my favorite for teaching online. It cancels background noise and the audio reception is great. My first Turtle Beach headset lasted over two years with daily use before the right ear-piece broke off. I bought this one (the same model) as a replacement and hope it will last as long. It's simple to install (plug and play), easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. I started with an expensive brand headset and was very disappointed - felt like my head was in a vice and my ears were being squashed. By the way, I received this item from Amazon as promised within seven days and it was delivered in perfect condition.

Sometimes cheaper is better
This is my second set of this headset only because one of my brothers had stepped of the first one. And I was more than ok with that because out of all the headsets I have used in the past expensive or not, this is the most comfortable and good quality sounding one. Not to mention this one is very inexpensive. I highly recommend this headset to any serious gamers or someone who wants great sound quality.

Decent Analog Headset
Probably the best analog (non-USB) headset I've used to date. Good choice for glasses wearers, very generous length of cord, enough padding for hours of use without discomfort, and a reasonable price point to boot. The sound and mic quality are fairly decent, and what I'd expect to hear from a $30 headset. If you prefer analog headsets or have just ran out of USB ports on that old hunk of metal, you can't go wrong here.

Turtle Beach Ear Force Z1 Gaming Headset
I was in desperate need of a new headset for my PC after my old Sennheiser headset finally died. As I have Turtle Beach headsets for both my Xbox 360 & PS3, I thought I'd give the Z1s a chance. The headset itself is great. Compact, lightweight, and providing exactly what it says (great quality audio and a mic), the Z1s are an excellent headset for those working on a budget. The mic is flexible, and provides clear voice communication while using the likes of Skype (or any in-game chat system). The Z1s also have a huge cable, but thankfully this can be neatly managed using the attached Velcro strip. While others have found them a little flimsy and a poor fit, I did not have those problems. If you've watched the product video (available on the Turtle Beach website), you'll know they're not supposed to cover the ear completely. The additional cushioning does an excellent job of moulding to the contours of the ear, and blocking out any outside noise. I found the Z1s to be quite comfortable over extended periods of gaming, and while listening to music.

computer racing headset
Was recommended this product, so did not need much information., except that it was compatable with Windows 7. Product arrived promptly and well packaged. Bought as a xmas present and was well received.

Very disappointed
The first head set arrived promptly, but then failed to work. I contacted the buyer who, much to my dismay made me pay to return them!!! Then they took over 2 weeks to send a replacement. As they were for a gift I was slightly embarrassed by the amount of time and the extra cost. Would think twice about purchasing from this company again.
