A surprising find
Like many these days, I am a big fan of nicotine pouches. Problem is, they aren't a big fan of ours. Heart health, anxiety, and stomach issues are common side effects of those convenient, if addictive, little pouches.Enter Grinds. To be perfectly honest, I didn't expect much. I've never been a big coffee drinker, as the caffeine has little boost. I tend to prefer energy drinks (and of course, nicotine pouches) for my daily pick-me-up. But in the hopes of finding a "Zyn alternative," I stumbled onto Grinds pouches. Each pouch is packed with moisture-locked, finely processed coffee beans. In addition to black coffee, there are many other flavors, including wintergreen, spearmint, and even cinnamon roll. The pouches are large, but fit comfortably in the lower jaw or back upper lip. They can start off a bit dry, but a little movement and patience will soften them up quickly. (I've also heard tell of folks dipping them in bourbon or whiskey before packing, which sounds like a great idea for both texture and flavor.)Surprisingly, Grinds offer a satisfying, but not overwhelming, energy boost. I never felt headachy or anxious, never got the jitters. (Looking at you, Zyn and Zone.) Instead, Grinds provides the experience of a typical pouch with improved flavor and a healthy dose of energy. The flavors:+ Wintergreen: the biggest surprise, a bit like coffee ice cream+ Vanilla: probably the most boring, but inoffensive+ Spearmint: another surprise; similar to the wintergreen+ Caramel: a bit rich for me, but if you like toffee, you'll dig it+ Cinnamon roll: delicious; tastes like Autumn+ Double shot espresso: black, velvety coffee with a double dose of caffeine (50mgs vs 25mgs among the rest of the flavors)The way some folks tote around large-size coffee mugs, like talismans of protection to get through the day, I could see Grinds becoming a staple of my work routine. (Perhaps even with a cup of coffee!)Check them out if you get a chance. I was not sponsored or compensated for this review, nor do I have a platform with which to share Grinds with a larger audience. Still, I think more folks seeking a nic alternative would appreciate the quality of Grinds products. This sampler pack made a fan out of me.

A Great Product, But Not All Flavors Are For Me
I recently gave the Grinds Coffee Pouches 10-can variety pack a try, and I have to say, it's a solid product overall, especially if you're looking for a healthy, tobacco-free alternative to chewing tobacco. I love the idea of having an energy boost with a satisfying oral fixation to help with cravings, but not all of the flavors suited my personal taste.First off, the fact that Grinds are nicotine-free and made from coffee makes them a great option for people like me who are trying to quit smokeless tobacco. The pouches give you about the same energy boost as a cup of coffee, with each pouch delivering 20–25 mg of caffeine (roughly equivalent to 1/4 of a cup of coffee). This is perfect for when I need a little pick-me-up during the day, and it’s especially nice that I don’t have to deal with the mess of traditional chew tobacco.I really enjoy the dry pouches, which aren’t messy like some other similar products. The moisture-lock technology ensures the flavor lasts longer, and the pouches themselves feel comfortable in my mouth without getting soggy or dripping. There’s also something satisfying about getting a steady stream of energy throughout the day without the rush and crash that comes from energy drinks or coffee. As for the flavors, they vary quite a bit. I personally wasn’t a fan of some, like the root beer, orange citrus, and spearmint. These flavors just didn’t sit right with my taste buds — they felt a little too sweet or didn’t have the right balance for me. Wintergreen was also a miss. However, there were several flavors that I really liked, including the cinnamon whiskey, vanilla, caramel, and espresso. These were smooth, flavorful, and offered a nice balance of sweetness and coffee richness that I could easily enjoy throughout the day.Another great thing about Grinds is the packaging. The 10-can variety pack offers a nice range of options, and I appreciate that they provide a chance to try different flavors without committing to just one. If you’re unsure about the flavors, this is a great way to explore what works best for you.One small downside is that, if you’re not into certain flavors like I am, you might end up with a few cans that don’t get used as quickly, but the product is still worth trying out for the quality and benefits it offers.Overall, I would highly recommend Grinds Coffee Pouches to anyone looking for a nicotine-free, energy-boosting alternative to chewing tobacco. It’s a great product, and while not every flavor is going to be for everyone, there’s definitely something for most tastes. Plus, their customer service is top-notch, and they even offer exchanges if you don’t like a particular flavor.

Loose pouches.
As much as I like this product my last can of cinnamon had over 50% of the pouches loose leaving grinds all over the pouches.

Not great to me
As a coffee lover, these just don’t do it for me. I’m quite picky flavor-wise and these flavors just aren’t nice. The orange coffee mix isn’t good. I think the best one for me was the espresso one because it was what you expected, - like having a coffee pouch in your mouth. Not some odd mix of coffee and sour oranges. In terms of the caffeine feeling, really hard to tell. These also can’t be good for the whiteness of your teeth.
