Red Ape Cinnamon Organic Cassia Sticks, 1 Lb

I placed a cinnamon stick in my tea cup and I love this product. It is a big bag and it smells so good.

Haven't tried it yet but what could be wrong with it.

I appreciate the cause that the company supports. I bought these for handmade Yule gifts so I can't speak to the flavor since they weren't used in cooking. They arrived with a hole in the bag, which was kind of annoying. I suspect that the cinnamon scent would have been a bit stronger if they had had slightly better packaging.

I tried brewing this tea a few times to make cinnamon tea for its health properties and the water when I brewed it would never turned dark brown like it’s supposed to, scan if I raised the heat and brewed it close to an hour. I don’t know what is wrong with these but because cinnamon sticks aren’t supposed to just have the water stay light colored after brewing for such a long time. This is an expensive product too and I was really disappointed. I bought it both for me and a friend, so that’s $50 down the drain.
