This glitter is so sparkly it's amazing. I've never seen anything sparkle like this does. This is GLASS. This is made out of crushed tiny slivers of REAL GLASS. While it does such a great job sparkling anything & everything, I would not put this on anything that was made for a child. When using this product again I would wear gloves because this is real glass. I did not wear gloves and it did not cut me however I was worried since it is such small slivers, like the size of splinters, that maybe a piece would get into my skin and I would not be able to get it out. It is great value for the money and again this appearance is amazingly sparkly. It's easy to use, I would recommend getting a glitter tray because it's easier to pour it out onto a surface and then you can pour what didn't stick, back into the original container what you did not use otherwise it's really hard to get all this crushed glass up off your surface if you did this on just like a table or desk. It doesn't take much of this product to sparkle anything you're going to work on.

I bought this glitter for nail art after trying to find “diamond dust” for my nails. I wouldn’t call this glitter diamond dust.. it’s more like diamond shards lol. Like other people mentioned, it is small pieces but it’s more like a chunky glitter. And it’s more like little shards of sharp plastic than rounded chunks of glitter. And I don’t mean that to be off putting about this product! It’s really beautiful and sparkly!! I could see this being really amazing for crafting and art projects. Like I said, I wanted it for my nails.. and it’s just too chunky and too pointed for nail art. If you add a top coat over it, it helps a little bit But it takes away the sparkle and it’s still too chunky and it may scratch you if you rub it on your skin accidentally. I also tried encapsulating it in gel. But since it’s clear glitter it basically disappeared, same as the top coat. I’m still giving it 5 stars because it’s a beautiful product and I see on a lot of the pictures people posted that it looks amazing on other projects, it just didn’t work for the purpose I bought it for so I’ll be returning it.

Just started using the product after receiving a couple weeks ago. I bought it specifically to mimic ice or snow on small sculptures and it truly looks like little ice shards. You can feel that the edges are sharp but with minimal handling they won’t cut you.My biggest criticism so far is the method of packaging and shipping. As you can see in the photo it’s completely free in the screw cap and so opening it for the first time was very messy, and I’m sure this will continue to be a mess. I did it on tin foil and I’m using a damp paint brush to lift individual flakes and place them on the sculpture, where a drop of glaze seals the edges to protect stray fingers with handling. I’ll try and update more once I’ve gotten more use out of it.
