Easy installation
I recently replaced my old disposal with a Moen garbage disposal, and I’m really impressed with the performance. It’s surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is, and it handles food scraps quickly and efficiently without clogging or jamming. The installation was straightforward—even for someone who isn’t especially handy. The instructions were clear, and the Universal Xpress Mount system made it easy to connect to my existing hardware. I had it up and running in under an hour.It also has a compact design, which freed up a little space under my sink. I appreciate the stainless steel components too—they feel durable and easy to clean.

Good product.
Nice small disposal. When we changed our sink we needed a slim disposal and this worked perfectly. It’s not super quiet but it’s not like you run it for more than 10 seconds. Makes about eh same noise as most disposals. Assembly was like any other disposal. Easy.

Easy installation and operation
I recently upgraded my kitchen with the Moen GXB75C Host Series Control Activation 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal, and I must say it's been an absolute delight. This garbage disposal unit has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it a fantastic addition to my kitchen. One of the standout features of this disposal is how easy it was to install. The package came with clear and concise directions that guided me through the process step by step. Even for someone like me who isn't particularly handy, the installation was a breeze. Within no time, I had my new disposal up and running, ready to tackle kitchen scraps and waste. The performance of the Moen GXB75C is impressive, particularly its quiet operation. I was initially concerned that the disposal might be noisy and disruptive, but to my delight, it's surprisingly quiet. Now, I can run it without disturbing anyone in the house, even during late-night clean-up sessions. The powerful 3/4 HP motor grinds through food waste effortlessly, leaving my sink clean and odor-free.Moreover, this garbage disposal unit has proven to be incredibly reliable. It handles a wide range of food scraps without any issues, from soft fruit peels to tougher vegetable scraps. I haven't encountered any clogs or jams since installing it, which speaks to its efficiency and performance. As for cons, I honestly couldn't find any. This Moen garbage disposal has performed flawlessly, and I haven't faced a single problem with it. It's reliable, quiet, and does exactly what it's designed to do.In conclusion, I highly recommend the Moen GXB75C Host Series Control Activation 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal to anyone in need of a high-quality disposal unit for their kitchen. The ease of installation, clear directions, and quiet operation make it a top-notch choice. This disposal has made kitchen cleanup a breeze, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Great disposal but could be better
When our fifteen year old 1/3 hp disposal began to leak from the bottom, we decided to replace it with a quieter and more robust unit. The Moen Chef series 1 hp lighted disposal fit the bill. This was relatively easy to install. However, because we failed to measure the diameter (after having confirmed we had the necessary vertical room to install it), it took some gymnastic maneuvers to fit next to the plumbing under our sink. In fact, because of the conical profile of the unit, we were only barely able to fit the unit among the under sink plumbing (see photos). Once secured and plugged in, the disposal worked like a charm. The motor is fairly quiet but you probably don’t want to run this for long too late at night or early in the morning. I deducted a star because the plastic bracket encasing the motion sensor and lighting (be careful when rotating it) both looks and feels cheap and flimsy on an otherwise solidly constructed garbage disposal.

Works well, never jams, and good customer service from Moen
I installed it and it was loud. REALLY loud. Loud enough, with lots of metal-on-metal grinding noises that it sounded broken. I called Moen, and turned it on while they were on the phone. The very nice woman laughed when she heard it, goes, "Yup, that's not right!" and immediately send me a replacement. They did not even want a return, just sent me a new one. It came in two days, and I put the original one out with the trash. Moen proved super cool to deal with.Even a non-broken one is louder than usual, for those who care. Personally, I don't care if its loud, I care if it jams. My old one was jamming all the time, as was the one before that. This one was half the cost, easy to install, and because if its design, really can't jam. Based on the photos, we tried putting a whole leftover drumstick down it - it actually chewed it up no problem. I am not sure about an avocado pit though - I think it would bounce around. All the moving parts are on the outside of the cylinder - no spinning pieces in the middle to get jammed up on an onion peel or something. Its like a Gravitron. The only downside is that if its really full, some stuff will sit in the middle while the machinery spins around it, and it does not really go anywhere. Its pretty rare, but we found the key to fixing this was to fill the sink a few inches with water, and then flood the disposal while it is running. Everything gets flushed around and chewed up. IMO, a small price to pay for no jamming, and no getting down on my knees with an allen wrench trying to rotate the jammed disposal blades without breaking the whole thing. Totally worth it.The lights are cool, but may be useless depending on where the drain pipe needs to be. My light shines on the back corner only. The next version should have the lights moveable, like able to spin around to where its useful.

So far we like it more than the one it replaced
I do recommend it to my friends. Very low sound, almost no vibration. So far no leaks. I Like the light when open the door of the cabinet.I’m feel was a good investment for my home.
