Very strong!! I can tell immediately after installing! What a difference! But the box says 1-7/16inch open end wrench to take old tie rod off but I had old moog tie rods and it was bigger than 1 7/16inch but I ended up using a pipe wrench but u dont wanna use a pipe wrench with the new tie rods u definitely wanna use the 2inch wrench. Tractor supply carrys the 2 inch wrench
