It is brighter then the standard bulb. However, I notice that the bulb is more pronounced in the reflector and you can see the individually lit leds on the bulb itself inside the reflector. Yes, its brighter but didn't think I would actually see the bulb itself while still lit. Overall, good product. Only wish the lumens were bright enough to make it difficult to see the actual bulb or stare directly at it. I have a 250 lumen led flashlight that I, in no way, can directly look at. So, I do question if this is a true 800 lumen reverse light bulbs...at least in the car. Perhaps they are if you clamped the bulbs connectors directly to a power source but inside the electronics of the car and what the car puts out for the bulb? It's not 800 lumens.

These are extremely bright but I'm making this review after having them for a while now and unfortunately one of them is showing up to be defective. It hasn't quit working all together but it's flashing noticeably in a way it shouldn't and only part of the it remains lit now which totally diminishes the amount of light that is output. I may have just got one defective bulb as the other one is remaining shining and just as bright as the first day installed but now I'm skeptical that it's going to last as long as I thought it would in the first place. We will continue to watch what happens and if something good, or bad, happens I'll follow up with additional input to this review.

Extremely bright replacement for the incandescent bulbs in RV. Hardly noticeable power draw compared to old bulbs. I had the 12v bunk fan on while changing out all the bulbs and I could HEAR the increase in power to the fan. I couldn't believe that the old incandescent bulbs were drawing so much power. I can run these lights much longer without worrying about the battery. A must for boondock camping!!!

Excellent bulbs, super bright. I put them in as backup lights in my Jeep Patriot and it's so much brighter than the halogen bulbs. They seem well built, not super flimsy. They only work one way in my vehicle, if you purchase these and when you put them in, they don't work, try flipping them 180°. Would definitely purchase again.

Much Brighter than the original filament bulb. I am using these for the cargo light in my Silverado. I can see clearly now. II now have to be extra diligent in not using them while driving, as they are surely blinding any cars behind me!

Did not like these bulbs at all. I found the light output very unsatisfactory compared to the Philips ones I used in my Altima, and the JDM A star's I used in my Chevy pickup.I returned them.

These were great initially. A month after the warranty expired (13 months almost to the day), one of the two bulbs stopped working correctly. Its started to flicker and caused an error code on dash.*Update to this review on 5/25/18, second bulb just went out as well. This one lasted about 15 1/2 months.

Very bright.. tried to use these in my dome on my jeep but the flickered, buzzed and felt like they were gonna catch on fire... took them out.. might work well for a reverse lightI guess it did what it said
