QXA756WLH Office Wall Clock, White, 12 Inch

Sturdy, not cheap looking. I can see this from anywhere in the room. Not a loud ticker, too. Keeps very accurate time.I would buy this again or one similar to it (size, color) for another room.

I'm a school teacher and the clock we had in our classroom I could hear ticking away when the kids weren't in the room and it would drive me crazy while making lessons and doing paperwork. It also has no numerals, no second hand and was wildly inaccurate for a quartz clock. So I threw that one out and replaced it with my own clock from an actual horology brand. This Seiko clock is very quiet. I don't hear it unless I literally put my ear up to it and it is still quiet. The 2nd reason I like it is as a classroom clock is it is very easy to read with large numerals which is great if you want to teach your students the ancient art of reading an analog clock. 😂 Can't recommend it more for school or even an office or work place. At home my wall clock has Roman Numerals and is more ornate but it goes with the vibe of my study. Maybe could go well in a modern or minimalist kitchen, I don't know. This is a no frills, super legible, accurate and quiet clock from a real clock/watch maker. I don't think you can beat this one for the price. 100% value for money in my opinion and it's a Seiko! I'd rather have a real Seiko clock on my wall than any of those fake Rolex clocks. And I have the same opinion as far as watches go. If you are thinking about a getting a fake luxury watch, take that money and buy a Seiko.

The Amazon description is completely incorrect; this is NOT a SILENT clock. The clock ticks audibly. It's not excessively loud, and it's a pleasant enough tick, but it does tick. We have it in a bathroom and of course when it's quiet, you can hear it clearly. At first I thought a tap was dripping! It's fine in the bathroom but I would not put this in a smaller bedroom or smaller office where it would be very audible.You will find that on Seiko's website, this particular model "Office Wall Clock" (QXA756KLH, QXA756WLH, etc.) is not advertised as being quiet or silent. They have pricier models which are labeled "quiet sweep"; this is not one of them. (We have one of these Seikos with a sweeping second hand in the living room, and it is dead silent.) So the description error is Amazon's.All this said, if the tick won't bother you, this is a very well-made clock and very good value.

Tick tick tick on two of them.. motor is ticking..rest of clock is nice.. just don't put close..What you're hearing are the gears inside the movement. Unfortunately some of our models do have a slight audible sound to it, even though it is a non-ticking clock. There isn't anything that can be done to silence it. If you no longer want the clock, I would suggest returning it to Amazon before their 30 day return policy expires. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This wall clock is extremely nice for the price! It is easy to read, relatively quiet and is a large enough size to be mounted just about anywhere in a large room. Packaging was nice and protective, adjustment on the back was great and easy to use. Seems like some wall clocks are really sensitive, this one is perfect. I would definitely recommend this classic style of clock to anyone looking for a new one for an office, shop, classroom or garage.

It looks so elegant, we love it. It is quieter than most regular clock, but you will still can hear tik tok sound when the room is quiet. If you prefer a clock without tik tok sound, you should look for Sharp silent clock.
