Replacement Sealing Ring For Lid On 6qt. Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker
This silicone gasket is exactly the same as the original that came with my EPC - 1200 (6qt. Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker).I purchased the Cuisinart epc-1200 back in 2012 and it still looks and works fine and I use it on a regular basis. The currently available 6 qt. Cuisinart electric pressure cooker has a different model number but it looks essentially identical to mine, so I am assuming this sealing ring will fit any 6 qt Cuisinart model.I purchased this sealing ring as a spare / replacement and it fits perfectly. I had assumed that this would be an item that would eventually wear out and need to be replaced but I haven't actually needed to use it yet. The original is somewhat discolored and has retained a slight odor from many years of use but still works. It doesn't hurt to have a spare on hand but the original will last a long time and may last as long as the pressure cooker. One tip I can offer however, is to always use the included round metal trivet. I used to occasionally have a problem of the pot heating up but the red pressure valve wouldn't pop up and the timer setting would go to zero. It apparently wasn't building up pressure and would then just go into the keep warm mode. I inititally suspected that it may have been the sealing ring failing but this actually didn't have anything to do with the sealing ring. This issue can be caused by thick or solid ingredients sitting on the bottom of the inner pot directly over the heat sensor. The sensor doesn't really sense the actual pressure but rather the heat at the bottom of the inner pot. By first inserting the metal trivet and adding water or liquid before adding the rest of the ingredients, it creates a space at the bottom and allows the liquid to boil and more easily create the necessary pressure. Since I started using the trivet (round metal rack) I have never had a problem with my pressure cooker building up pressure and working properly. If you don't use the trivet, it may still work sometimes but if you are having problems it is likely do to this issue with the heat sensor rather than a problem with the sealing ring and using the trivet can solve the problem.

Good replacement sealing ring
My aunt loves pressure cooking and recently complained to me that her pressure cooker wasn't working very well for some reason so upon closer inspection of her Cuisinart CPC-600, her silicone ring seemed to have gotten very loose after a year of heavy use so I went to Amazon to find her a quick replacement, found this one, ordered it and it arrived quickly and works perfectly as a replacement sealing ring. My aunt is very happy with this and is back to making absolutely delicious pressure cooked meals. So if you're CPC-600 pressure cooker seems to not be working well anymore, check the sealing ring to make sure that is not the problem before you go out and purchase yourself another expensive pressure cooker.

A Smart Early Buy
Most needed part for pressure cookers. I have used pressure cookers for over 40 yrs. and the only thing that can go bad on them is the seal and in the past I have not been able to fine one when I needed it. Therefore,, I ordered this with my new electric pressure cooker so that I am not searching for one 2 or 3 years from now. A definite must.

It fits. It works.
This was ordered to replace the missing seal on a pressure cooker that I acquired used. On the Cuisinart, getting the seal into position is a bit tricky, and it doesn't act like it's really going to do the job, but once the pressure starts to build, it seats in place and works exactly as it's supposed to.

Make sure your seal is bad
Had to buy this seal because my Cuisinart pressure cooker would not pressure and I had seen where many people were saying that the seal was the problem. My problem turned out to be the lid itself but doesn't hurt to have a backup seal.

CPC-600 and it doesn't fit
I have a Cuisinart CPC-600 and it would no longer seal when it came to pressure. It would continually hiss and boil the food dry. The original seal looked good but was a little loose. I have cleaned every tiny nook and cranny of the appliance and have disassembled it and put it all back together. So I looked online and bought this one. Well I was very excited to have received it and immediately tried it out. I can not bring my cooker up to pressure. It just won't seal. I believe this ring is just not tight enough for this cooker. Or I got a defective one. It seems like it was made well, but just too loose for the CPC-600. I'm at a complete loss of what to do. I would hate to buy a brand new one to find out I'm only wasting my money and it wasn't just a defective one. I wish I could get my money back or sent another. Or sell the cuisinart and buy an instant pot. At least they are popular enough to rebuy correct replacements. Okay, rant over.

Silicone sealing ring for Cuisinart pressure cooker
Had a problem with our pressure cooker building (and keeping) pressure. The ring looked OK, but it was a toss up between this and the pressure valve that was the culprit. Bought both and the ring is the weak link. Replaced it, and it fit on the lid the same as the old (it wasn't tighter or looser), however it might be thicker because it fixed the no pressure problem.Back to like new operation of our trusty Cuisinart pressure cooker.

Fits Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker from Costco
Fits the Cuisinart 6 QT Electric Pressure Cooker that I bought at Costco many years ago. Unit works like new again, I didn't realize how bad the seal had gotten! For the price, definitely worth getting a back up or just one to keep on hand for non-stinky foods.
