TAG Body Art Face Paint 1-Stroke Split Cake - Snake (30g)

This split cake is a must have for any face painter and is not limited to just snakes. It is small in size but it lasts a long time and is the perfect size for flat brushes. I have been face painting for over a year and have used this at every event and have hardly made a dent in the amount of paint in the container. I think this is because the colors go on so well. I activate the paint by wetting your brush first. If you need more wetness, spritz your brush with a spray bottle, not into the paint container as the colors will run together and you will lose the separation of color lines. The colors go on bright and opaque and since the black is on the edge, you will save time because there is no need to outline your design. I recommend a 1" or 3/4" flat/angled white taklon or paint pal arty brush for application although you could use a sponge too (not as good sharpness of lines though with a sponge). The colors wash off easily with soap and water and I have never had anyone complain of an itchy feeling or gotten a rash from this paint. I use this for snakes, dinosaurs, minecraft images, leaves/stems, TMNT (without the yellow), eye/arm graffiti lettering, fish, and a lot more! Highly recommended!

Tag paint is always some of my favorite. It goes on creamy, is vibrant on the skin, and wipes off clean. This cake is great for snakes (as the name states) but also makes great leaves and lizards and alligators

This product came completely taped all up closed and in order for me to even get it to open, it was a pain to do. I now have a split cake that is all sticky on the outside and covered up on top. I'll have to try and see if I can use alcohol or something to get this sticky stuff off. Annoyed that this was packaged like this because if I can't get the paper off the top, I won't see the colors through the top to be quick with painting faces and the stickiness if definitely annoying. I put a picture of the Flame next to the Snake so you can see how it should be packaged and how you can see the colors coming through the top....whereas the snake was all taped up and now it's covered and sticky.

Back when we could gather with people this item was A#1 for face painting. Gorgeous colors, fantastic coverage. Beautiful snakes, leaves, dragons were made with this item. Great product, made my artwork look even better.

Color is great. Vibrant. Perfect for leaves, snakes, etc. Very hard to tell, but I think the darkest color is black, not a deep green like I thought. I've only used it for leaves right now, so I haven't needed the darkest color...yet.I thought about the 1-stroke made for leaf designs, but I use a smaller flat brush and wanted all the colors. You would need a 3/4 or a 1" brush for the leaf split cake...in my opinion. But all have their uses!
