A REAL PACK-HORSE!-This purchase was an experiment to assess if the product was suitable for a 2-week international trip - cabin baggage only-research revealed this was a good option-arrived in 2 days-the back-pack has 2 main storage areas-I used one for carefully rolled up clothes & the other for camera and gadget packages-many other smaller pockets proved useful for documents and the like-there are so many small pockets/pouches here and there - that many were redundant during my trip-there is also a very useful pocket/sleeve at the rear of the main storage area-which is ideal for iPads and Mac books/lap tops etc-I’m a savvy packer - however, everything I wanted to take on the trip - fitted nicely-my back-pack weight for the trip varied between 8kg and 10kg-the Wenger-Carbon proved to be a shrewd purchase and survived planes, trains and automobiles with no blemishes, on quite an active trip covering a lot of territory over 3 countries-it must be a great back-pack for students & office workers with a lot of stuff and clobber to carry around!-high quality and highly recommended

After owning a Wenger 16" backpack for many years (indestructible, travelled the world with me) I was forced to "upgrade" as my new laptop (a large 15.6" workstation) wouldn't fit without poking almost out of the top of the laptop compartment of the old one (despite being for a 16" laptop, was perfect for 14"), however the old one (with "red" badge) truly was/is a magnificent bag.Zip failed within a week both at seams and then the actual zipper itself, it really was that bad, was not at all confident in fact the straps were even that well sewn.Extremely poorly made especially compared to the older model (before I believe the company was taken over), the older models had the "red badge" I believe whereas the newer ones have the "black badge".Avoid.

Habe den Rucksack im Winter gekauft. Da ich meist schwarze Jacken trage, war kein Problem mit den Tragegurten erkennbar. Seit es jedoch warm ist, und ich das Teil auch mal nur am hellen Hemd trage, ist das zu einem echten Problem geworden. Die ersten beiden Hemden habe ich versaut, weil ich gar nicht daran gedacht habe, dass die Gurten das Problem sein könnten. Da steht man beim Kundentermin und hat schwarze Flecken am Hemd. Sehr unangenehm.Dann habe ich angefangen die Plastikteile zur Längsverstellung der Gurte abzukleben. Aber offenbar färben auch die Einfassungen der Gurte ab.Wer also den Rucksack am hellen Gewand tragen möchte tut gut daran, wenn er gleich Gewand mitbestellt. Die Flecken gehen nämlich nicht mehr ganz raus! Da helfen sämtliche Hausmittelchen nichts, alles probiert.

Ich schreibe nicht viele Produktbewertungen, aber dieser Rucksack hat es einfach verdient! Habe ihn jetzt seit einem Semester in Gebrauch und möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Was mir beim Kauf an Information etwas gefehlt hat, wie viel tatsächlich hineinpasst - deswegen habe ich einfach mal eine Beispiel Bestückung fotografiert - mit Sachen, die ein Student tagtäglich braucht.- Laptop (15,6 Zoll) mit Ladegerät- breiter Ordner und schmaler Ordner (nicht komplett gefüllt)- zwei relativ dicke Bücher- zwei Bier (0,5 Liter)- Trinkflasche (1 Liter)- Kaffee-Thermobecher- Geldbeutel, Schlüssel, Handy, Tablet, Kopfhörer, Powerbank- Tastatur und Maus- MäppchenDie Verarbeitung ist super hochwertig, der Rucksack steht außerdem selbstständig, außer er ist komplett asymmetrisch beladen. Komplett regendicht und angenehm zu tragen, hat an den Schultergurten Shock - Absorber: Gut Für Rücken und bewegliche Teile im Laptop! Viele Nützliche Fächer zum Verstauen von allem möglichen Zeug, jedoch nicht zu viele, die dann meist nur unnütz sind und nicht gebraucht werden.Viel mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen. Der Preis ist für Studenten natürlich happig, allerdings lohnt es sich denke ich, wenn man einen Saufabend auslässt. Für alle anderen Gruppen Außer Studenten ist der Rucksack natürlich genauso geeignet. Klare KaufempfehlungNachtrag: Im vorderen großen Fach ist mittlerweile die Naht einer kleinen Tasche aufgegangen. Auch am Tragegurt ist eine Naht aufgegangen. Nicht weiter schlimm und einigermaßen gut zu nähen, aber ärgerlich!Wurde kurz vor Ablauf der Garantie ohne Probleme ersetzt!

Build Quality looks superb, pockets for everything, plus some neat bells and whistles. The reason I'm giving it a 3/5, is because it's advertised to accommodate a 17" Laptop - I have a Dell Inspiron 17" 5000 Series Laptop, it fits, but there is no tolerance for airport-argy-bargy. The top corners of the laptop are tight under the zip and are liable to be scratched. The internal laptop cover which folds and fixes with velcro in order to hold the laptop securely, DOES NOT WORK with a 17' laptop - it's just not long enough to re-engage the velcro. Though, to be honest, the laptop is not going to be shaken around as it's wedged so hard against the top zip, it's fixed in position.Overall a neat, attractive backpack which looks as though it'll weather a fair bit of traveling / commuting. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, however, if you intend using it for a 17" screen.(Dell Inspiron 17" 5000 Series Laptop is 51cm )
