I purchased this for my Mom's cane, she took a spill in Starbucks and fortunately was not seriously injured, but the problem was her cane tip slid forward when it hit a nearly invisible patch of water (we just had a bit of snow). My Sister and I seem to have alighted on the same idea as we both bought her this tip independent of one another. :) It's a great product, yes it's a bit heavier but the stability is worth it and my Mom says she is confident walking in the the snow and ice - even after the mental images of her tumble replay in her mind a week later. Its a great purchase, I have a little better peace of mind, so I wholeheartedly recommend the product. It is simple enough to put on any cane, I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

Awesome product! Cane was always falling over and making quite a noise. It was a family cane, and special, so we didn't seek to replace it. But, like most everything, we jumped on Amazon to see what products were available to help with the frequent falling. This base fit on the can by replacing the rubber cap that was on it. Immediately, the cane will stand on its on, and the falling cane has been almost completely silenced. It is a comfort to the whole family that the cane will be ready and waiting when needed. During use walking, the sturdiness of the base makes the cane more useful. Excellent buy. Well worth the price. Increases the usefulness of an existing cane.

I got this for a metal adjustable cane and it works great. It has made it more stable and work better for keeping me balanced. It has some give to move with the cane so no trouble with resistance like some fixed metal quads I've seen. It was easy to put on although a tight fit to make sure it stays in place and I've had no issue with that. I like that it makes the cane remain standing as some days I can't bend over without a lot of pain or difficulty if it were to fall. It stays upright just fine unless bumped into hard enough and not caught fast enough. The black also matches mine well. Wierdly smells of tires.

This cane tip is sturdy, solid and well made. I bought it to go on a solid wood hand carved cane. It is not an adjustable cane in any way. I discovered that the cane tip raises the cane about an inch in height. My cane is about 7/8" at the bottom, and while this tip fit it I was not able to get my cane totally to the bottom of this tip. I have a telescoping type cane, and this tip works well on it. But if you cane is a fixed height type just be aware that this tip will raise the height of the cane. I have measured the inside diameter of the hole on this tip, snd it is 11/16" wide. It is a little pliable, but I personally find it much more suitable for a 3/4" cane bottom than a 7/8".

Great tip for stability, especially iutside on uneven terrain. Isn't so bug to be a tripping hazzard, not too heavy and work great on a carex folding cane. Yes, they are great on folding canes!!! I got these for myself and my sister and niether of us will use a standard tip again. These give you so much more stability walking, rising, and sitting down. They seem heavy when you open the package, but niether one of us has a problem walking with them. they don't seem so heavy on the cane. They have enough flexibility for walking and for you are getting up ir sitting down. Recommend them to all cane users!

The product is good and adds stability to a traditional cane but is a little bulky and heavy vs. “hurricane” type cane feet.Biggest complaint is the product comes smelling heavily of cigarette smoke as if packaged by a very heavy smoker. It must be aired out to be usable and it scared us after delivery as we thought someone must be in the house when we could smell the smoke before opening the package. A real bother

This product is great. My mom needed a cane tip that would stand up show she could pay for things and have it right where she needs it.
