I was worried about the struggle that was forthcoming, trying to zip a cover over a mattress to stop the dust mite having a party ... however, it slid on quite easily and zipped up rather easily.I had tried AllergyUK.org for a recommendation, but their site was broken. After emailing them they came back with ACP Solutions (astexallergybedding.co.uk) with it's minute pore size of 5.9 microns and 10-yr guarantee, so perhaps I should have waited, but this encasement seems to do the job despite not mentioning pore size of a guarantee and ACP Solutions website was also broken and Amazon is so much easier to buy from. Perhaps the House of Emily could provide additional information on the pore size and other benefits.

This fully encases my king size mattress. It was easy to fit. It helps me with allergies including dust mites.i do t feel any sense of "plastic" when the sheets on top. There is no extra sweating...its like sleeping on a normal matress- I don't notice any difference in comfort. I am very pleased with it.

I brought this for my daughters bed as she can be clumsy - she has a deep mattress and topper and this fit well.It isn’t too thick and ‘rubbery’ and is surprisingly quiet.

To protect my mattress when I opened the velcro I noticed holes in the material on one part both corners where the stitching holds the velcro on to the material luckily I'm good at sewing I'm not looking for a refund or a replacement I just feel you should know
