1/2 LB Organic Madagascar Vanilla Beans - Whole Extract Grade B Pods for Baking, Homemade Extract, Brewing, Coffee, Cooking - 8 Ounces

These are great for making vanilla extract. Though they are B grade they are still plump, glossy, and full of good vanilla scent. They are insanely cheap, especially when you look in grocery stores and pay $12 for one dessicated bean. These are wonderful. Also, recently discovered you can spus vide and have double strength vanilla in 3 hours instead of 3 months!

I bought these to make my own vanilla extract and pasta. So far everything is turn out great. I did use more vanilla beans in what my recipe called of but the beans were nice and plumped. They smelled amazing when I opened the package. I had maybe 2 or 4 that were a little dry but they plumped right back up soaking in vodka. I would definitely buy these again when I need to make more extract.

Plump, fragrant, turned alcohol dark quick. These beans were sealed tight and all 50 counted for. I am very pleased with them this year!! Been making my own vanilla for few years now... these are the best by far.

Good price, but more dried out than I wanted. The recipe called for "plump" vanilla beans and these did not fit that description, so they were more difficult to slit open to scrape out. But they certainly smelled potent, and they seemed to do a decent job flavoring the panna cotta.

These vanilla beans are great quality for the price. As you can see they are full, plump, and have an amazing aroma! To make my homemade vanilla extract- I would first flatten the bean and then slice. This helps break open the vanilla inside. 10/10 recommend.

I was very excited to get these and make homemade vanilla. When I received them they were very dry and 10 beans only weighed .56oz. I wasn't even able to split half of them to expose the caviar because they were so incredibly dry and just snapped and broke into pieces.

I used these to make vanilla extract. These are excellent quality beans. I love how the package comes very tightly vacuum sealed. Best vanilla beans and will only buy these in the future.

These came in an airtight package - so fresh and they smell amazing! I got them to make homemade vanilla (tired of paying so much for it at the store) and they did their job perfectly! It takes 6-8 months to do this and it was well worth the time. The vanilla flavour in the Christmas baking this year was awesome! :)

Not fresh. Very old beans

I used them to make home made vanilla. I will be able to tell you in a couple of months . They were the freshest and the most fragrant I have ever used. I am sure the flavour will be unbelievable.
