These connectors make if very easy to wire up and later change configurations of the wiring. They work well for my application. The screw terminals make them a little larger so if you have small spaces you need to plug into you may need to take that into consideration, but they are easy to use and eliminate the need to solder or de-solder if you make a mistake with wiring.

The pin numbers and GND silkscreen on the board were very helpful keeping track of which wire goes where. In my application Roboteq HDC-2460 motor controller I was unable to use the 25 pin and 9 pin connectors side by side with the shells on due to the narrow spacing between connectors. I was able to use them by removing both backshells.

I love these breakouts. They're really well made. I had no issues with torqueing anything down. In the past, I've dealt with stripped, cross threaded screws on things like this but no problems here. I also like that they come with various sizes of bushings/clamps to accommodate different #'s and thicknesses of wires.

These cable ends were perfect for the custom length cable I needed to.make. The ease with which the wires terminate and how securely the housing closes are great. The slim body of it made things great too as not all laptops have a lot of room around the db9 plug. Would buy again.

The quality is very good for home use. The box can be opened and closed multiple times in case you want to reconfigure or re-use it. The cable lock down on it is solid and includes a selection of nice rubber donuts to relieve the stress placed on the wire exiting the block.

This works well. Screws a little soft but have been able to reuse these without trouble. Bulkier than a crimped or soldered connector but very low hastle

It was very easy to put together and was very sturdy.
