Great Product
I love these, they don't require too much work to install but they have to be done right. They definitely help with the slamming of cabinet doors. They work great to keep them still and slowly close.

Easy to install and works great!!
***Edit*** Added a Video demonstrating these. Also, after over a year these still work great and we have never had an issue with a single one even though they’re installed on every cabinet we own. Still HIGHLY recommend. We recently bought some IKEA cabinets for our laundry room and they came with the soft close hinges. After using the cabinets we really wanted to get similar hinges for our kitchen. Our kitchen isn't IKEA. After looking around these were the best deal out there and had good reviews so I went had and bought a package of them. I was slightly disappointed when I opened the package and they were plastic that looked like metal. However, after installing the first one which took all of 1 minute, it worked so well I didn't care what they were made of. I looked around just to see prices on metal ones and they were quite a bit more expensive and not worth the extra money. These are also nice and small and since they are installed with just the spring push sticking out and the rest hidden in the cabinet, they are very discrete. My wife couldn't find them at first even though she knew they were there. So they aren't big and noticeable, you will probably never have anyone notice. Our neighbors just purchased these as well because their young daughter keeps slamming her fingers in the cabinet doors. So they are also great to help prevent fingers being smashed if you have little ones at the house. The instructions it comes with are straight forward. Just drill a 3/32 I believe pilot hole then screw it in and you're done. We had four doors that needed two per door. Even with 1 of these on the door it would not slam, it just didn't have the same catch and slow close as the smaller doors. So it didn't really NEED two but I wanted those doors to close like the rest. The screw adjustment on the back is very easy to adjust and makes a big difference. That adjustment is how our bigger doors could've used just one of these but I used two anyway. It also was good for our smaller lower cabinet doors to adjust it back to close easier as those doors aren't as big. We have 48" cabinets and all of our standard doors just used one and definitely don't need two. I would highly highly recommend these to anyone looking for that soft close on their doors. I wil be buying a few more to finish up the cabinets in our bathrooms as well as I find myself slamming those now forgetting they don't soft close!

I doubt you'll be disappointed
These have been on my cabinets for more than 2 years now. I haven't had any break on me or need to repair or add any since the first time. These are not a bad budget option. Actually, I don't even know of any other option. They work great on the heavier cabinet doors but they don't work on all doors. Not that they're supposed to. I don't notice them anymore. They have indeed stop the cabinet doors from slamming. My only issue is the plastic can break if you tighten too much. Shouldn't be an issue if you pre-drill and use tla screwdriver.

Easy install
I purchased 25 and had them all installed in less than a hour. Easy install. The quality doesn't appear to be so great but they all work. I need 25 more but will wait to see how these hold up for a couple of months. As of now I will purchase again. Update Now after a few months of use they are beginning to fail.

Effective, inexpensive solution to the problem
So, I started looking at slow close replacement hinges for my traditional hidden hinges. My doors have the routed-out holes for the old ones, so I was hoping for a plug and play slow hinge that would solve the problem. Took pictures of my hinges, went to Lowes and started comparing, and I still wasn't sure. Then, on YouTube, I stumbled on these simple, piston driven devices at a fraction of the price. Checked out Amazon, and there they were and with rave reviews to boot. I ordered a pack of 25, installed them, and they worked perfectly... the wife reminded me about the linen cabinet doors in the hall, so I ordered a five-pack to finish the job. I could not be more pleased with the end result. Tip: use a 7/64 drill bit as opposed to the 3/32 recommended bit for your pilot hole. It makes the hidden screw head much easier to install, and it's just as tight. You want slow closing cabinet doors for practically just about any size door? Do yourself a favor. This the way to go.

Leaky and doesn’t work.
Do not get these. The only upside is that they are easy to install. Going through the bag I got, I would run into a few where there was no resistance on the stopper mechanism. They would sounds squishy, like the seal was going bad in the inside and air/fluid was getting out of the mechanism. I just don’t use those and installed the rest. They started out working great. After a few months, I have multi units failing. The same squishy sound of air/fluid rising out of the mechanism that was there on some of the new ones. Since they use fluid pressure instead of a spring, they need a better o-ring or seal. Find a different solution and don’t waste your money or time. Or have to worry about the tiny drilled holes from the install.

Great soft closers
These things work great! Easy to install (I put them on the bottom of the door rails). Now soft close doors.
