I make a lot of plushies, with otter plushies being my most requested item. I use A LOT of brown thread and was very close to running out of any browns that would be a good match to the fabric I use.This is a great replacement for the thread I'd depleted and is good quality thread. Doesn't break often, unless I manhandle it and is smooth/easy to thread on my needle.One of the 4 spools I got was crushed, but the thread was undamaged. I knocked off one star for that reason only. I hand-sew all my plushies, so I don't have a problem with the damaged spool, but if someone needs to place it in or on a machine for more industrial sewing purposes, they might have a hard time using it.I purchased the brown thread - it has a slight maroon tint to it. I was hoping it would be more of a dark walnut color, but it still works for me.I also didn't need 4 whole spools, but I suppose I could use it for other projects if needed. It was too good a value to pass up.I'd definitely buy it again.
