These dishes are well-made, heavy, and have become our new "formal" set (we gave away our Royal Doulton china as it didn't match our newer decor). The plates and bowls are sturdy, microwave and dishwasher safe. Excellent quality product as it is European-made.

I particularly love the colour of this dinner set. The plates/bowls are a bit heavy but it’s a quality product. Only thing I would say is the side plates are on the small size. I would have never preferred the size up. They are more like a large saucer.

I had a set of black and white Denby for many years. Following a house move I wanted to change and unfsortunately I switched away from Denby to Le Cruset which was a bad mistake. It wasn't a patch on Denby so I've come back to Denby again and won't be using anything else.I love the shade of this, it's part of the "coastal " range and it can be mixed and matched so I have Azure, Azure haze and my favourite which is Azure coast but they all blend beautifully together.Excellent quality, all microwave, dishwasher, freezer and oven safe they are just beautiful.The only reason for the one star knocked off is because the side plate is more like a large saucer (pictured). I bought the medium coupe plates separately. The small plate doesn't hold a sandwich.

I bought these because they're British made (not far from me actually) so not being made in China is a big plus. As it happens they're also excellent quality although you pay a premium for ownership of a British product. Plates are very heavy though (as plates go..) and the lip is high meaning they may not fit your dishwasher. They do fit in mine albeit not where I usually put the dinner plates. Grand.
