Flex edge beater
This beater works well. My only complaint is it leaves a ridge of batter about 1” from top of mixing bowl. Batter works it’s way up silicone sides on low or high speed.

Fits larger Kitchenaid mixer.
Bought this to replace the metal paddle that came with my 6 qt. Kitchenaid. It’s hard to find any accessories to fit the larger size mixer. I Like this so much better than the metal paddle.

Metal!
I bought this to replace my plastic on that I broke making royal icing. This one is metal and it is holding up to my abuse. It also does not squeak against the bowl like my old one.

Does not fit advertised 5.5Quart Mixer
I checked several times to ensure that my model would work with this beater, since the official KitchenAid beater is out of stock. I confirmed both the model and measured my bowl, however this does not properly fit the 5.5 Quart KitchenAid Mixer. It drags the sides and causes the motor to bind up. Unfortunately I can't return it because I wasn't able to test it until after the return period expired, otherwise I'd be returning for a refund.
